Mine would be Shoot 1UP:

The dude mainly in charge of its development has a great history, even though I'm not much of a R&C fan...

It's easily one of my favorite shoot 'em ups this gen. Also, the main theme is freaking amazing. One awesome song right there!

And the best part is that it's a freaking dollar!

So what's your fav? Only one!

Probably World of Goo vs. Braid. I'll pick World of Goo because of the music and epicness.

Good choices. Can't go wrong with Flower, Braid, and World of Goo.

  • Knights of the Chalice

Machinarium.

I forgot about that one and also World of Goo.

Both sit on top of the indie list for me, Machinarium is just so much fun to watch but very challenging. World of Goo is tons of fun with its own level of challenge.

You have to play it to understand it. It has a tendency of blowing people's mind with scope and epic-ness just for the stuff that happens in the game and story. But you won't understand by simply playing those few first levels.

World of Goo for sure. One of my favorite games this gen as well. Played the trial of Braid, loved the art style, but not so much the gameplay. Might get it someday though.
