Your Favorite Playstation 2 RPG's?

So I have an itch right now to play some PS2 RPG's. The PS2 was one of the greatest platforms for RPG's, so I know there were some that I probably missed out on. What were your favorite RPG's on the Playstation 2? I've actually never played Kingdom Hearts, so I guess I'll start there. Recommend me some other titles System Wars!

It's on the PS1 but Chrono Cross is fantastic so if you're willing to go for a PS1 game you can't do a whole lot better.

Obviously the Final Fantasys are a good place to start, particularly X. Dragon Quest VIII is a great choice as well.

I really think the PS1 was better for RPGs actually, so just look into that. The Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy VI double pack, Final Fantasy VII, the works.

Better suited for the Legacy board...

I played tons of RPGs on playstation so its hard to list what i liked as i liked a lot of RPGs

Ive played alot of PS2 jrpgs. Those are in my highest bracket but theres alot more i like too.

Persona 3 and shadow hearts 1&2. I know you said 3,but both shadow hearts games are awesome. So overlooked.

I adore every Shin Megami Tensei title (minus the Devil Summoner ones, good, but not great), FFX, and Tales of the Abyss. Those are the cream of the crop for me.

I was just about to make a post asking if anyone enjoyed it. I liked it for the same reasons you liked XII (that too). Great combat and world to explore. Although i did enjoy the closure to the story.

I forgot to put Kingdom Hearts 2 up there.

I played all of the Final Fantasy's on PS2. Made this thread mostly looking for titles that didn't get the same attention that I might of overlooked. Thanks for all of the titles so far. Made a nice long list and I'm going to go crazy on Amazon tonight.

Kingdom Hearts 1+2, loved the combat system.
