I fail because I didn't like a certain game? Sorry for having standers on games coming out in 2009 that look like it came out in 2006 The graphics in Dragon Age aren't that great, but so what? You don't play Dragon Age for the graphics. The story is extremely well told, there's a ton of content, lots of replay value, and your party members are very well developed. And besides, there's lots of graphical improvement mods on the PC version.Dragon age looks ok but Demons Souls looks a lot better probley why it got all those awards like game of the year.

I've played the game and IMO that whole Dark spawn thing was boring the end boss is just some stupid dragon (Which you fight a few) that doesn't talk is really easy and by the time I got to him I'd forgotten why I was susposed to kill him.
I didn't like the game so sue me.

So you're just going off by what other people have told you? I've actually played the game you have not and IMO that whole Dark spawn thing was boring the end boss is just some stupid dragon (Which you fight a few) that doesn't talk is really easy and by the time I got to him I'd forgotten why I was susposed to kill him.

Actually, I've beaten it twice. So, I'm not going off what someone else told me. Don't tell me what I have and haven't done. It really discredits your argument. I don't talk about games I haven't played. You didn't like the Darkspawn... fair enough. But if you forgot why you had to kill the Arch-demon at the end.... I don't know.[QUOTE="Shielder7"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] The graphics in Dragon Age aren't that great, but so what? You don't play Dragon Age for the graphics. Congratulations? It's still quoted in that post for all to see. Point being, I don't see how you can rip on Dragon Age as a disappointment. Maybe you didn't like it, but it was by no means bad, even if you didn't like the darkspawn, the story-telling is top-notch, as is the voice acting.

It appears as if since you didn't like the graphics, then you didn't like the game. Typical SW ideology i guess.
That's about it for games released in 2009. However, I did play games in '09 that were released in previous years that I never got the chance to play and these three I consider at the top of the pack of games I played last year, despite 'em being released a year or two earlier.
Well were just going to have to agree to disagree because IMO the story was far from top-notch, it was boring to say the least and the animations looked better in KOTOR 1, which is a lot older and actually had people parrying and not just mindless swinging that never seem to connect.Congratulations? Someone should tell Bioware what year it is, I only hope they've learned there lesson for ME 2. Go away Fanboy I don't need you telling me why my Opinion is wrong and what I should or shouldn't like.

I agree with you about the animations in KoTOR being better for combat. I actually brought that up in a conversation about Dragon Age the other day! That's odd. Anyway, not trying to be fanboyish at all. There's lot of problems with it, but I was willing to put up with them for the story, which I greatly liked. The only point I was making was that it wasn't a bad game. Please Log In to post.
