"I hear foul creatures about..." Diablo 2
"I watched the stupidty of mankind through the scope of my rifle"
"I was born on a battlefield. Raised on a battlefield. Gunfire, sirens and screams... they were my lullabies... Hunted like dogs, day after day... driven from our ragged shelters... That... was my life. Each morning, I'd wake up... and find a few more of my family or friends dead beside me. I'd stare at the morning sun... and pray to make it through the day."
both are from Sniper Wolf, Metal Gear Solid
"You have a heart of gold. Don't let them take it from you." Stockpile Thomas, Demon's Souls
"No interest, eh? Can tell you're not going to last long here." Boldwin when you don't buy anything from him, Demon's Souls
"The disciples and the magicians in the Nexus despise one another. Did you notice they never sit in sight of each other? The fools. What good comes of childish rivalries?" Crestfallen Warrior, Demon's Souls
"Hm? You new here? Are you here for my services?
The Names Boldwin… Just an ordinary blacksmith.
It's simple. Just bring me all the souls you can.
In trade, I'll give you weapons. Or forge ones you already have.
With your souls, I can eke out a living, and with my weapons, you can go on living.
Not a bad deal, eh?" Boldwin, Demon's Souls
Too many in NIER.
"Weiss you dumb***, you better start making sense you rotten book, or you're gonna be sorry. Maybe I'll rip your pages out one by one, or maybe I'll put you in the g*ddamn furnance. How can someone with such a big, smart brain be hypnotized like a little *****, huh? Oh, Shadowlord, I love you Shadowlord. Come over here and give Weiss a big sloppy kiss, Shadowlord. Now pull you're head out of your g*ddamn *** and start ****ing helping us"
Kaine, a female character says that. There are many other great quotes between here & Weiss, & plenty of Kaine saying inappropriate things, a lot of the time to bosses. Another one I really liked that I can't remember the words for exactly:
King: How many rules are there about what to shout before dying in battle? Advisor: 32 my liege King: ...
"****-hog"! Ahh man Kaine was ****ing awesome. And man did the spoiler part make me sad when I saw it.:( Facade is probably one of the coolest places with the coolest people in a JRPG.Too many in NIER.

"Stop right there criminal scum! Nobody breaks the law on my watch! I'm confiscating your stolen goods. Now pay your fine or it's off to jail."
"Stop! you vilolated the law. Pay the court a fine or serve your sentence. Your stolen goods are now forfeit."

I loved how NIER & Weiss reacted when Kaine said that.. I love every place/town in that game.. The music really complimented the areas as well. My favourite was probably Seafront personally. I actually loved farming the Black Pearls because of the music, scenery & atmosphere. I loved the King & the Adviser; so loyal.

Seriously the music is probably one of the best parts of NieR. Every new area was a treat just to wander around and listen to the music.:P Ahh as always nice to meet someone here who can understand and fully appreciates the greatness that is NieR.:D And just because I should have added it"Stranger than a boorish young woman who battles monsters in her undergarments?".

Yeah, there are plenty of great quotes from Weiss as well. NIER's OST is probably the only game OST I listen to very often. It's also probably my 2010 GotY.
"Boarding a pirate ship be hazardous to your life!"
"You fight like a cow."
"Look, a three-headed monkey!"
I think "Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?" will be a pretty good one once Farcry 3 is released.

Song of the Ancients - Fateis probably the song I listen to the most. First time I heard it I was like "Wait isn't this AHH SMACK!:o" and it then became one of my favorite songs ever.:PNot to mention "Ashes of Dreams" is the probably the only ending credits song I've ever heard that just truly tugs on my heartstring.:(
This is how music in a game should affect you.
Mandatory Uncharted 2 reference: Sully: "I'm sweating like a hooker in church." Drake: "You brought a hooker to church?" Sully: "Yeah, so?"Blabadon
The last answer from Sully it´s actually: Yeah, why not?
I know cause ive just beat that part.:)
"It is a quiet thing, to fall, but far more terrible is to admit it."
"You can't kill ME!"
"Sit down in your chair and drink your goddamn TEA!"
"The target's location? Yeah... no f***ing idea, sir."
"If I can't shoot it, maybe somebody else should try."
"You are, all of you, vermin. Cowering in the dirt, thinking what... I wonder? That you might escape the coming fire? No, your world will burn until its surface is but glass, and not even your Demon will live to creep, blackened from its hole to mar the reflection of our passage; the culmination of our Journey. Your destruction is the will of the Gods! And I... I am their instrument!"
"When I joined the Corps, we didn;t have any fancy-schmancy tanks. We had sticks! Two sticks and a rock for the whole platoon, and we had to share the rock! Buck up, boy, you're one very lucky Marine."
"Back in a minute." (Makes more sense in context)
"Ah, yes, ze table..."
"Do a barrel roll!"
"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds."
"Let's put some b****es to the sword! VIP ****"

I like pretty much the whole OST, but stand outs for me:
Just realised if I don't stop myself I'd link the whole OST..

It really does have one of the best OSTs in quite some time.:)Bioshock: I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? 'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.' 'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.' 'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture, a city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well. and A man chooses, a slave obeys. berserker2389
Yeah, this is brilliant. There are heaps of great quotes in Bioshock... Very well written. Some of my other favs include:
-Andrew Ryan (Bioshock): "I believe in no God, no invisible man in the sky. But there is something more powerful in each of us, a combination of our efforts, a great chain of industry that unites us. But it is only when we struggle in our own interests that the chain pulls society in the right direction. The chain is too powerful and too mysterious for any government to guide. Any man who tells you differently either has his hand in your pocket or a pistol to your neck."
-Andrew Ryan (Bioshock): "What is the difference between a man and a parasite? A man builds, a parasite asks, 'Where's my share?' A man creates, a parasite says, 'What will the neighbors think?' A man invents, a parasite says, 'Watch out, or you might tread on the toes of God...'
-Atlas (Bioshock): "You think that's a child down there? Don't be fooled. She's a Little Sister now. Somebody went and turned a sweet baby girl into a monster. Whatever you thought about right and wrong on the surface, well that don't count for much down in Rapture. Those Little Sisters, they carry ADAM- the genetic material that keeps the wheels of Rapture turning. Everybody wants it. Everybody needs it."
-John Marston(RDR): "Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain't nothing fair. You know that."
-John Marston (RDR)- "If you ever find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin"
"Mankind was at his zenith when fighting the Kilrathi. Now our society is crumbling. We have no goals, no focus. We've grown complacent and confused. Who will protect us when the next race tries to dominate us? Who can tell where that threat will come from and when? No. We must be prepared. Progress only comes through struggle. Fighting keeps us fit. Conflict ensures our readiness and our survival. The Kilrathi understood this, they endured for millions of years and so shall we if we continue fighting. If we continue to perfect our methods of killing--"
Final Fantasy X.
"Listen to my story..." - Tidus.
"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!"- Auron.
"Remember guys, he may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot, but don't let that fool you, he really is an idiot."
-Joker, Arkham Asylum.
And the delivery is fantastic!
Oh and I liked this for some reason
"Give me some grade-A honest to god gore, and I'll buzz you through the door"
-The Director, Manhunt
