I'm one of the few guys in SW that doesn't like FPS / Platforming. I didn't like it in Half Life 1 or 2, nor Mirror's Edge.

If you can't get the Platforming right, leave it to the other devs, I say. I love platformers though. That's not to say I'm not good at it, I just don't enjoy moving boxes, jumping on pipes in First Person.

To answer, I would say Timesplitters...very enjoyable game.

I will check that out, BRB...but it looks 3rd Person from the get go, so already I dig that more.

I hate having to move boxes around to jump over a fence, or crawl on pipes over acid vats in First Person. I also dislike jumping in First Person. I'm good at it, but I don't find it enjoyable. It's just not fun for me...but your video seems to be in 3rd Person, which is already a plus in my book.

BRB as I continue to watch.:P

EDIT : Yeah, that looks a lot more enjoyable than what I had in mind as the game allows you to toggle between 1st and3rd Person view.It's got like Moon Gravity Physics, looks to be fun.:)

Timesplitters. The whole series was awesome but the second one was besT IMO.

Stalker - Every PC gamer knows about it, but it doesn't get mentioned here. It's a great series of games, quite demanding, but very good (especially with mods and patches.)linkthewindow

Stalker apart from Hermits crying that it looks amazing in graphic threads hardly any of them have probably played it great game.

Serious Sam: The First Encounter. I loved that game a lot, but I never hear any praise from it anymore. :[

I always post this game in hidden gems-esque threads. Not only one of my favourite FPS's, but also games of all time. If you played Duke Nukem 3D and loved it (and don't mind looking at the extremely dated BUILD engine) play this game now.

STALKER. Well, it never got mentioned here before all of these Call of Prypiat threads. Now it's getting rather popular around here. Otherwise, I guess DarkSector.

I was going to say that, but with the amount of people that bash me every time I praise it makes it seem like a lot of people know about it, probably because of the pre-release, pre-exclusive hype.
