Your game of the year ?

It's almost the end of 2008, I'm surprised that nobody's talking about their games of the year, yet.

Personally, I absolutely loved MGS4. Solid gameplay, epic soundtrack and an amazing story that actually managed to solve the convoluted plot of the series. A perfect ending to the Solid sub-series.

MGS4 Is most likely going to win, even though from what i've seen from the game it seems more like a movie. I'd want gears of war 2 to win, or GTA4.xhizors96

LittleBIGPlanet is my choice.

Mine personally would be Dead Space. It did a fantastic job at creating atmosphere in a horrific environment, while having great gameplay and even good replay value (IMO). Overall, a very refreshing experience that really impressed me more than anything else this year. Runner-up would be LBP without a doubt.RotaryRX7

I agree with you. Am middle of playing it and its keeping me on the edge of my seat.

No new mario, no major halo, not some rehash and not some expansion to a game.
This is new and great and a kick start to a franchise.
IT HAS A GOD DAMN PREQUEL MOVIE TOO. And animated comics on youtube.
So check them out if your a fan.

But really MGS4 hands down ALREADY IS the game of the year.
