Your Hype

All the big game releases for this year are pretty much over and naturally people start to think more and more about the "big" games of 2010.

So, which upcoming game (nvm the platform) do you think has the most build up hype atm and which upcoming game are you most hyped about?

Me?I think GoW3 definitely has most hype as of now.About my personal hype... well SSF4 is a given so I'll have to go with GoW 3.Just got the hd collection and the demo and my hype is sky high.Cant wait.8)

Hype is a very bad factor in gaming if not done correctly (Demon's Souls did it well, somehow).

Either way,I think GOW3 would probably have the most hype as of now.

My hype lies in Starcraft 2. It's maybe one of three games I would actually hype in SW.

for me, im hyping:

1. Starcraft 2 (yea guess what? it has been 11 years and counting)

2. Halo Reach (the next major Halo title)

3. God Of War 3 (Kratos nuff said)

These 3 games are getting major hype from me and imo will OWNZZZ 2010.

I agree. Hype is indeed a very bad factor in gaming. Personally, all the games I was looking forward to already came out. I might pick up a few games that slipped past me this X-mas.sonicthemegaman

As for me, all it took was a piece of concept art to make me hyped for Zelda Wii lol. That, and Diablo III.

GOW3. I'm crazy hyped for that game. Haven't been so hyped for a game since the release of HL2.

It depends. We haven't seen any actual gameplay yet. The awful steering controls in that Sega racing game seemed fixed in the latest trailers.sonicthemegaman

Will they be using steering controls in the 2D game? I was under the impression that it would be a homage to the classic Sonic games on the Genesis.

Gran Turismo 5

FFXIII is my most anticipated game of all time so that's definitely my most hyped game. Overall, I think the most hyped games are gonna be FFXIII, GoW III, and Halo Reach.

i just beat gow 1 from the collection it has a really good story for a action games and beginning lvl was cool did u guys know kratos wears his wife and daughters ashes on his skin thats sick im about to start gow 2 see were the story goes from there

My impression of the Sonic HD (or whatever they are calling it) is that they will be going back to Sonic's roots. I hope they don't add all of those extra characters that have accumulated over the years like Amy and that white hedgehog.

If bungie makes as big of an ad campaign for reach as halo 3 it will be a 10.

Btw the idea is to name the one game your most hyped about and not list 5-6 games ;)
