Your least favorite developer

Just wondering who people consider to be their least favorite developer.

Mine would have to be Obsidian Entertainment. I don't know what is up with these guys and why they cannot make a good game. They literally just use the same exact mechanics as the previous games in the series (since they mostly seem to work on sequels) and somehow manage to add little that is new but a whole heap of bugs. Not to mention they aren't very good with story either.

Bioware is easily my least favorite developer, however after Mass Effect 2 I have sworn never to play their games again so I will replace them with someone else soon. Of course they are far from the worst, the worst are without a doubt Data Design Interactive creators of Anubis 2 (1.5 Gamespot) and Ninjabread Man (1.7 metacritic).

Data Design Interactive. Have they ever made a game that scored higher than 5.0?

Least favorite developer for 2010 would have to be Square Enix: Final Fantasy XIII was a pile of edible mule dung, and most of the rest of their games sucked too.

Rockstar- Kings of exploitation.

This of course is IMO.

Back on topic, my least favorite developer as for now is Bethesda. Didn't like a lot Fallout3.

Obsidian. And my least favorite PUBLISHER is either Activision, or EA.

Actually RPGs are my favorite genre, I just dont like what Bioware makes. And here is why

• Well told but cliched stories and universes
• Rehashed structure in every single game: Something terrible happens to the main character, main character joins an organization, main character must go through 4 places, final confrontation with the main villain.
• Some of their RPGs have felt very limited in the roleplaying aspect, what choice you make in a lot of their games isnt based on what you would do but rather what gives you the most samaratian points or ******** points dephending on if you are a good or evil character. Dragon Age Origins, seemed to step a bit away from this however.
• Atrocious and usually linear level design, Mass Effect 2 was horrible in this aspect.
• Dumbing down sequels, case in point: Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2
• The conversation system they seem to want to put in every game, conversation wheel.
• Their games are too action heavy, in Fallout, Planescape, Eschalon, and Vampires of the Masquerade: Bloodlines you could beat the game with almost no violence.
• Very limited consequences for your actions, few from what I have seen affect gameplay at all and those that do, we always know the moment we choose that, unlike the witcher where the consequences arent always obvious.
• Always overpromising, and imo always underdelivering: remember when they promised 100's of planets to explore for mass effect 1, 9 novels worth of text for Dragon Age: Origins, 1000's of variables for Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 (not released yet but I highly doubt it)
• Repetitive gameplay, this killed Dragon Age: Origins for me
• Level Scaling in every bleeping game they made
• On the bright side, they make interesting characters and their games tend to be very cinematic with excellent voice acting

You are entitled to enjoy them however, they just arent my cup of tea.
