Wow this is pathetic. I thought they would atleast convert peoples points into currency value.

But to be fair, if you somehow forget about your unused points for a year without spending them (does anyone actually have that many available at once?) then you deserve to lose them.

Hold on a second there. Sony is actually doing the same. If you do not spend your money that is on your PSN wallet for a few months or a year, they will vanish too.

I don't think that is true. My US Psn has had $2 in for the last 2 years (maybe 3 now), I occasionally get a psn message from Sony reminding me of this.

Ok I worded that wrong. I mean more, that if you buy points, you likely have intention to spend at that second anyway. So anyone who still has unspent points likely only had a few left. If you bought a massive amount of points without fore thought of spending them soon, then you sort of deserve to lose them anyway of you then just left them for a year.

Anyway, RIP points. Things will be more expensive when you can't buy cheap points from the UK.
Or I don't know, maybe these redemption codes won't be that region specific. Expect they will be though.

I have £4.69 resting in my PSN Wallet for over a year now and it's still there. I prefer it to work that way.
