Let me begin than with possibly the best and saddest endings I have ever seen in video games; The FF X ending. Seriously if you did not feel anything while watching the FF X ending, you have no heart and should see a therapist and NO i am not kidding. The game had so many amazing emotional moments, too many to name in fact, for example [spoiler] the part where Tidus finds out that Yuna is gonna have to sacrafice herself to defeat Sin [/spoiler] I felt pity for him because hes all in love with her, and its blaringly OBVIOUS yet no one decides to tell him that.

My second best/runner up would have to be, you guessed it: Aeris/th dying. Why? Simply because of the chemistry you could feel between her and cloud and obviously you feel even worse about it after you find out the WHOLE story.

Half-Life 2 Episode 2 when Eli dies, I was a bit on edge from that, then my mom walks in during the scene and starts asking about my day and that out me over the top. I went from sadness to anger at an untimely interruption, and finally guilt at snapping at my mom

Yes, I'm a FF fanboy, but not an FF7 one.

Play it if you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time.

For me, it's technically the last FF in the main series that I have yet to beat, as such, I'm playing it.

Not a specific moment, but playing deathmatch on UT or Quake III when it goes down to the wire and it looks like I'm going to lose, but then the magic comeback happens and I win. Then I'm all insane and I get up and yell at the screen, "take that bizatches!1!1!".

I'm weird.

The only redeeming part of X-2 is the combat and job system, everything else is pretty bad.

Getting the "Mile High Club" achievement in COD4 and then seeing that picture of all the main characters before the credits.

Striking out the final batter in triple play '97 for my first (and only) perfect game I've ever thrown in a baseball game.

Wet eyes from several movies, but never a game. The only thing coming close was the ending of Halo 3.

Never had an emotional moment in gaming. Movies is a different story.

The 3rd and last missions of Homeworld hit me pretty deep. Poor Hiigarans :(Jimisaurusrex

The story of Homeworld 1, 2 and cataclysm are severly underrated, i can see them making a movie from this.

The ending of FF7 Crisis Core was sad including the music to it.
FF8 was also emotional.

Mgs4.. all of it, even the other metal gear solid games had their moments.

Shenmue 1 and 2, you have to play it to understand, words wouldnt be able to describe the epicness of this game.

Devil may cry 3, the ending of dante vs vergil, brother vs brother...is another one.

Theres loads more but i cant think of any more.
