Any collectors out there? What is your most prized game?
Mine has got to be Valkyrie Profile for PS1.
And I guess collectors editions count. :)

Soul Blazer for the SNES.
Last time I checked, which was years ago, it was going for over $100 on eBay.
I think Panzer Dragoon Saga, but it's kind of hard to say with how prices have skyrocketed for a lot of old games. I'm almost scared to look at ebay anymore.
Nothing. I don't keep any dust collecting games. The ps4 collects enough dust as is.
+1. I don't care about collecting for value, the only reason I even keep games is if I think I'm going to play it again, collecting them has no value to me at all. Even if i originally planned on keeping a game, whenever I see I have an expensive game - I pretty much put that sucker on ebay. Years ago I sold my Final Fantasy VII misprint for like $250, and Metroid Prime Trilogy Steelbook also for $175. It would be laughable to think I could get that now, and in both cases I felt it was pretty absurd someone was willing to pay me that much. So I made pretty good moves on those. I do the same with movies, anytime I have an OOP movie (DVD or blu-ray) that shoots way up in price... boom... ebay.
I've never really bothered to check if I have any collectible PS3 games, but I sort of doubt it even though I have a huge unplayed backlog (lots of sealed games). I know I have an extra sealed copy of Samurai Showdown Anthology on PS2 which has gotten pretty valuable. But I do want to give that one another run if I ever setup my PS2 again.
To any collectors what's the point of collecting games? I mean all you are keeping is a disc and a case I don't get it.

That's probably mine too. Game sucks though. Maybe I should sell it soon before people stop paying such high prices for it.
I'm not really a collector anymore but one of my most prized(for me, not money wise) item is probably the Playstation 1 disc of Castlevania Symphony of the Night, I remember it had a cool song you could listen to if you put the disc in a music player. Also, It's valuable for me because of sentimental reasons, i.e. life events happening around the time I bought the game., etc.....not to mention it's likely one of my favorite games of all time.
Another one would be Dragon Warrior 1 for the NES. In an uprecedented move, Nintendo were giving out free copies of the game with a Nintendo Power subscription(or something along those lines...I dont remember the exact details). I remember coming back home from school once, seeing the game waiting for me. It came with a large poster I think. It was that game that made me love RPGs. I couldn't believe it, as Dragon Warrior 1 was 92$ at the time and I certainly didn't have that kind of money as a young student.
My favorite collector's edition would probably have to be Fallout 3 from last gen.....nice bobblehead and lunchbox.
Compilations are valuable to me, such as Super Mario All-Stars, Halo MCC, Rare Replay.
In terms of monetary value, I have the entire Resident Evil saga on Gamecube- that's pretty valuable. RE 2, 3, and CV for Cube all go for ~40 each on eBay, and also the Special Edition RE4 with the steel cover and photocell.
A couple SNES games as well worth some bucks- Link to the Past, Turtles in Time
Hmm, I don't collect them anymore but I still have Street Fighter: Third Strike around, I spent ungodly amount of hours enjoying it.
