Your top 5 games your looking forward to!!!

so with this season were going into, i think it would nice to see a thread, not about one game but the top five games you are looking forward to.

please no fanboys stuff about systems. just talk about the games.

heres mine, in no certain order

1. GTA4 -- i'll be honest this is prolly my number one bigtime game i am really looking forward to. the idea of going back and scaling down to a single large sity, to focus on reality based physics and A.I, and detail.....really sits well with me. i like how theyve handled the main character. lotsa ex-soldier turned mafioso comin outta that region of the world. the graphics have really blown me away so far....and the fact they will only improve as release closes is awesome. it does suck that planes are out, but i understand the reasoning. wanna see some more info on music, cast, characters....etc.

2. asassins creed --the gameplay in the ubidays trailor really got me jonsin! the graphics look great so far...and the story looks really cool.

3.splinter cell conviction -- there still isnt a ton of info as of yet, but if this is the bourne supremacy simulator i think it is....man i cant wait. and once again a game where the realistic physics seem to be as important as the graphics!

4. Killzone2 -- i really enjoyed the dark scifi feel of the first one. plus i am just really waiting to see what the graphics look like. this one is high on my list

5. Ratchet & clank future tools of destruction -- do i need to say it? this game looks huge!!!

5. Haze - It looks like a clever story they have going, and the screens look great. Plus I would really like a good first person shooter.

4. Assassins Creed - Also looks like a great story, plus it looks really fun.

3. Metroid Prime 3 - Always loved metroid.

2. Mass Effect - I like the idea, looks great, and the NPC's look great.

1. Halo 3 - Some people might not like it, but I really want to see how the story ends up. Plus, I have had some of the funnest gaming experiances playing the others in Co-op on legendary.

Only have a Wii, so I'll just do Wii games:

1 - Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn I'm hooked on this franchise; I beat Path of Radiance almost as many times as I've beat Resident Evil 4.

2 - Metroid Prime 3 Self-explanatory, will most likely get a 9 once again.

3 - Super Smash Bros. Brawl Another great series, not to mention when it comes out, everyone online better watch out. :twisted:

4 - Disaster: Day of Crisis Looks very interesting and I trust Nintendo will do a great job as usual...

5 - No More Heroes Judging by Killer 7, this will be great fun for me :)

Then there's BWii, Super Mario Galaxy, Final Fantasy CC:CB, and Project H.A.M.M.E.R.

On the 360/PS3, Tekken 6, Gears of War 2, LittleBigPlanet, Banjo Kazooie, and Blue Dragon have my attention...

1. Mass Effect - One of the most promising looking RPGs ever

2. Halo 3 - sequel to the best shooter series out there, in my opinion

3. Assassin's Creed- I've wanted this from the first second I saw it.  First title that made me think "next gen"

4. Splinter Cell: Conviction - I'm a huge fan of the series, and it reminds me a lot of Assassin's Creed, which is a good thing.  The physics look amazing.

5. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway- Sure, some say that WWII shooters get old, but I think Gearbox does an amazing job with these games, and the squad based stuff is a blast.

1.Gray Matter- I love adventure games and Jane Jansen is undisputed queen..no...empress of the genre :)

2.King's Bounty: the Legend- loved the original. ANd this reimagining of the franchise has HoMMV $tyle and is being designer by Space Rangers 2 crew. And since both HoMMV and SR2 were in my top5 favorite 2007 games I'm hyped like hell about this gam

3.Storm of War: Battle of Britain- finally a next generation of Maddox's flight sims, instead of upgraded Il2 code. Awesome realism+dynamic campign= winner for me

4.Combat Mission: Shockforce= the absolutely best wargame series ever is back on next-gen engine

5.The Witcher- that's a bit of wild shot, but the books rocked and everything I saw from the game was very promosing. Unlike the rest on the list I'm not sure it will turn out good, but I have good feeling about it.AdrianWerner

1) Fallout 3: This needs no explanation. Fallout with Bethesda is second only to fallout with Black Isle.

2) Bioshock: Looks to be on of the best games of the year, as fallout 3 and spore are coming in 2008

3) Spore: Looks really innovative and seems the possibilities will be fun and endless (bring on the gonad-shaped creatures from random users!)

4) UT 3: UT is by far the best FPS series out there, and the third game looks like a blast.

5) Assassin's Creed: An open-ended, PoP-like game sounds like an awesome combo.
