stating dubious things and more importanly hating on the 360 way more than on the ps3, which gets lots of love, apparently.

I find it both interesting and amusing to see these guys standing in front of the webcam and try to convince the other people why they're doing the right or the wrong choice by choosing 360 over ps3 or viceversa.

By these videos, it seems like the general opinion is that Microsoft is the "devil" and that you should stay away from the 360, for various reasons, often not supported by true facts.

there are plenty of these videos on youtube, pertaining the same topic, and I've been wondering where all this hate towards MS in particular springs from, when in spite of all, 360 keeps selling and outselling the Ps3, at least in the USA.

The majority of system war behaviour can be explained by cognitive dissonance theory. However, I don't feel like elaborating on the theory. If PS3 > 360 videos are more common, then that's interesting. Provided they are North American and not Japanese, since PS3 is more popular in Japan. Could be a coincidence that there are more youtube users on the PS3 than 360, but that seems unlikely. Hm.
