It kind of exisited, but what they meant by luanches today is that game developers can now implement the options to record videos inside games and let users or the people playing it post it on www.youtube/playstation.com. Also they are now fully dedicating a full youtube section to the playstation community so developers/users can now post playstation games, information, interviews, and etc. on this channel for all users to watch. Basically if you want to see playstation video stuff and probably some exclusive trailers and such this is the place to go.

Sounds like this is just a channel on youtube, meaning no downloadable stuff. Simply head to youtube.com/playstation and you're set.

Yeah but the trailers and game footage will look better on this site because its the official one from the developers and such. The only thing tha tmigh tlook bad is the users recording their own video of themselves while playing the game that might look bad.

Awesome. Microsoft needs to do this as well.

Would love to post some videos myself but never wanted to deal with the whole "Capture Card" nonsense.

Yeah thing is your channel won't be supported by real developers launching official trailers in youtubeplaystation, and I am sure microsoft games divison won't support it either :P
