yeah, i read wat u wrote on the wii boards. its too indistinguishable to b done by accident. its a small thing, but i dnt like the way they've done it. its not jst a sound u can use, it has great meaning and is a great symbol of islam. they shldnt have used it in the current political climate. they had a choice of infinite things they cud have used. i wont be surprised if we hear more of this. but the game isnt popular enough for many people to realise, and the sound may b confined to one level of the game.Maazio

i can understand why u say that, i dont like it either. but i doubt a petition will take us far by any account. best is to ignore it. it is disrespectful. a petition wud draw attention to it and aggrevate a currently small thing. if u dnt like it, dnt buy the game. i know im not buying it now. 95% of the population tht plays the game wont realise it. 70% of the people who are left wont care. its not worth the hassle. it shud best be ignored.

Of course they do -- But one thing that should be realized is that Islam is the most practiced religion in the WORLD -- MANY Muslims will be upset by it -- its just like if the game had people dancing around like idiots, singing a hymn perhaps. Its offensive and does not need to be in the game.

This isn't the first time that something like this has been done by Capcom or even Nintendo. I remember the OOT Goron Fire Temple sounds.

Also I remember the picture of the door in DMC3 which shows a muslim symbol on a door which leads to a particularly nasty place. (P.S. If you don't know what I'm talking about don't ask, suffice to say I saw the pics of the offending door in question in a forum on 1UP and it's as clear as daylight.)
