I'd agree if it wasn't for Twilight Princess (My favorite zelda game...OF ALL TIME!) World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, and Battlefield 2.

I liked it so I am cool with it... Also until Gamespot makes a GOTD Gamefaqs is the most reliable as its their parter.

Well I only played the SNES Zelda, a little of TP, and Majoras Mask and Majoras Mask is much better...

I mean if the other Zeldas are that much better then it must be a great series lol.

The only thing I don't understand is why they waited until 2010 to do a Game of the Decade contest using the cardinal method(2000-2009)

It kinda feels strange that a game from a previous decade won GOTD for this last decade, oh well in the US they love their cardinality. Also I see that the Nintendo and Square fanbases are as strong as ever at GameFaqs.

LMAO @ gamefaqs polls, their site is overrun with sheep and FF nuts anyway (it's been that way for years). Honestly, four of the final eight games are Nintendo franchises and the only good one to be GOTD is Metroid Prime (which would lose still, IMO). I dunno where you'd even begin to judge GOTD, but you'd have to start with best games on each platform ever and then choose one of those, IMO. With that said:

PS2 - Shadow of the Colossus

Xbox - Halo:CE

GC - Resident Evil 4

PC - World of Warcraft

PS3 - Uncharted 2

Xbox 360 - (really tough here) but I say Cod4:MW

Of those, I just don't think any of the other games hold any water to what WOW has accomplished.

IT is ONE OF my games of the decade, but not my top. Definitely no problem with it winning though.

I have every Zelda game ever except for the new ones on DS and Wii. In my younger days I used to worship the Zelda franchise but MM was the game that I just didn't like. I even loved the Gameboy Zelda games and Zelda II on the Nes but MM was soooooo tedious... To be honest, I find it hard to believe that MM is the game that the most users picked as the game of the decade.

And Brawl in second place? Are you kidding me?!!1!!!111!! But, Brawl > MM, IMO.

Nah, Vice City has the funniest radio stations out of all the GTA's. I would even say the overall best radio stations out of all the GTAs. But as in legacy probably GTA3 is the one.

It's an alright pick. No objections from me.

It's not what I would've picked, but it deserves some recognition. Back in the days people hated it because it was not enough like OoT, and you still see a lot of people complaining about the time limit. The time limit was ultimately irrelevant, and anyone who has played the game knows this.

na, I say Wind Waker was the worst. I agree that Majora's Mask should have won but Metroid Prime should have come in second.

While MM is an amazing game I think WoW would be GoTD. I say this as someone who personally feels it's dull and stupid. WoW's been out for 6 years and there's still several million people who play it and Blizzard has been really good with patching it and releasing content. Ace6301

Yeah, I think its just waay too much to get into. Like I played it for like an hour and though... "This is just too much to deal with", lol.. But I really have to give them credit for creating what has turned into like.. A legitamit world. Never has a game so fully lived up to its title imo. And not only that I cant ever think of another circumstance where a game was so good at what it did that it completely kills the genre because no one wants to play anything else
