120 gig harddrive, HD-dvd supports porn whereas the PS3 blue ray doesnt. Bioshock, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Mass Effect, and Forza 2 are enough for me to chew on in 2007. AHHH yes, but I do own a PS3 as well, and this is a no brainer for me. Zephyr design is gonna blow PS3 design as well. Hail the King MS.

Great post. But something that I want to add is that MS fanboys always speek of how the PS3 is overpriced and that no one cares about BR, it should be left out of the PS3. However, when MS comes out with a HD DVD player inside the 360 and HDMI (although it is still a rumour I think) they love the idea. So really, when fanboys used the arguments that "HDMI is a gimmick, VGA is better!!!" and "why would I want a BR player in a console? The 360 is all about choice" they were really lying and admired the PS3? Wierd...

Probably not confirmed yet but all signs point to yes. When retailers are talking about SKUs in their systems, something is about to happen.

With that being said. HD-DVD, it was fun. Universal, see you on BRD in a few months.

Looks like the Wii is the only console that doesn't provide HD movie viewing.....that's why I dislike it.

However, when MS comes out with a HD DVD player inside the 360 and HDMI (although it is still a rumour I think) they love the idea. So really, when fanboys used the arguments that "HDMI is a gimmick, VGA is better!!!" and "why would I want a BR player in a console? The 360 is all about choice" they were really lying and admired the PS3? Wierd...

Microsoft isn't putting hddvd inside zephyr. What the topic creater is saying is if you buy the zephyr with hddvd it is a better deal than a ps3. You get double the harddrive space and everyother feature the ps3 has plus some.

Ah, sorry my mistake. I read around the time of CES that a HD DVD drive would be built in. In that case, why is HDMI being implemented when the HD DVD peripheral uses VGA?

More features? i think not, all they did was add 100gig. HDMI and change the color, hd-dvd addon is pointless since thers about 2 hd-dvd movies every month, id much rather buy a PS3 for 600$ wich has Blu-ray player and then just upgrade the hardrive. Great deal for me

honestly, i don't see any reason whatsoever to buy the Zephyr unless you've got a 20 foot wide 1080p tv and download constantly and are a resolution wh**e

What really strikes me is how fast MS is putting out consoles

Xbox
Xbox Core
Xbox premium ( the reguler one )
Xbox Zephyr

and then into the gen after this 1, thats like 5 consoles in 10 years.

But if its so cheap why not put it into the Wii ? they already have a 50$ profit. just put in a 30$ Dvd player and ther you go, still making a 20$ profit

Or bought a Wii and don't yet have an 360 and can take advantage of the HDMI and 1080p on a 45+ HDTV

Not having Dvd playback doesnt bother me il still get it if i can find 1, but they could atleast try and support 1 format

Someone fail at math? The HDMI Xbox is $480 + $200 = $680. Thats almost $700. HD-DVD still isn't used for games. Still no WiFi. You still have a crappier processor, and you still have slower ram. PS3 can upgrade and get a better hard drive cheaper anytime it wants.

no one knows exactly what the zephyr is. its all just speculation right now.

1st- Blu-ray is outselling hd-dvd 3:1 and hd-dvd has like no exclusive companys left.
2nd- Ps3 users can easily upgrade to 120gig. the only reason MS is putting it that big is because they failed with the small 20gig. and now are trying to pass sony
3rd. Bioshock is on PC
4th. Your gonna pay another 650 to play Halo 3 and Mass Effect?
5th you dont know how the zephyr looks like exept its black, and either way ps3 looks better
6th. Hail the king MS? you mean hail MS the milking machine, in less then 10 years they manag to put out 4 different Xbox's. Wow good job

Great post. But something that I want to add is that MS fanboys always speek of how the PS3 is overpriced and that no one cares about BR, it should be left out of the PS3. However, when MS comes out with a HD DVD player inside the 360 and HDMI (although it is still a rumour I think) they love the idea. So really, when fanboys used the arguments that "HDMI is a gimmick, VGA is better!!!" and "why would I want a BR player in a console? The 360 is all about choice" they were really lying and admired the PS3? Wierd...

No..lol..the ps3 console is still better deal overall..and i didnt know microsoft will include Hddvd drive in the new 360 version? lol..if they did lemming who bought the 360 early is gettin ripped off badly and will be even more pissed off..i know it was only a matter of time till microsoft release it..20gb isnt enough..they jus playin catch up with sony..

oh yeah Zephry is "RUMORED" and its "RUMORED" without "HD DVD player inside the 360"

-Lets add here. Bluray has over 170 Supporters. HDDVD has 2 Porn(0.000001 of porn is shot in HD camera's... Interent its FREE) and Universal(Coming to Bluray within the year).
-Major Renting Retailers are only renting out Bluray DVD's and Not hdDvd (Blockbuster)
- I dunno why people are saying less then ten years Microsofts been in the Business SIX years so thats almost an average of A console a Year. Lets not add the fact of the Crystal Xbox, the Halo Xbox Etc.
-MS Want to Change The console gaming market to be liek the PC New uogradable consoles every single year
-And finally Every PS system has sold over 100 million units. almost Tripling the competition COMBINED every Generation.
