Eww i don't like the look off the black console with the chrome disk drive,but i guess a new faceplate will cure that.
$475 seems like a reasonable for a bigger HDD,i'm not interested in it at all,because i already own a 360 prem,however the bigger HDD is of value to me,hopefully they will release it at a resonable price (a.k.a pc HDD prices)

Why would it release for $399? The expected price is $479 How much does the current hdd cost? And with zephyr you would be getting a 100gb hdd with $80 it's called a package deal. or a price cut on the current model( hdd) . there's many ways to solve that delima.

I cannot stop anyone from believing the hype. all I know is that it will never happen. No one has ever added an option to a console that early buyers couldn't get. It's suidide because early buyers would be pissed and it will lead to some really angry customers. It will hurt Microsoft and I don't see them spending the money to add that feature. There isn't a huge market for it either.
You cannot compare a console with an Ipod. They are totally different. When Sony brought out the slim PS2 with built in network I am sure the early buyers were still able to get the ethernet port.

I agree, they definately are working on new version. It makes sense with the launch of IPTV. It would not surprise me one bit if they launch a new version of the xbox 360 this fall to coincide with the launch of IPTV.

Price vs. Price there would be no reason to get this versus the 20 GB PS3.....I mean the 20GB PS3 obviously has less HDD space.....but I mean it has a next gen Blu Ray player (which will win the format war now thanks to the PS3) for $30 more.
