Which was the last Commodore Amiga model you owned? Do you still own it and play those classic titles?

I still own my A500+, A1200 and a few AGA titles, but thanks to today's modern PC hardware and software I play the classics on my PC :D

I had an Amiga600 from the popular "The Wild, The Weird and The Wicked" pack.

My mum gave it to my aunt in birmingham years ago. So gutting!

But christmas 2005, my girlfriend bought be a brand new one (well, 2nd hand "new") and since i kepy all my important games and boxes, i can still play all my cl4assics :D

Though now instead of our tiny tiny 14' tv set, i can play them all on my 92' projection screen. :D

I own a CDTV. I used to use it as an Amiga computer with the keyboard, floppy disk drive and monitor. I now use it as a CD player hooked up to my stereo.

hahaha :D
Aww man how innocent were we! I was too young to know about the upgrades when i was playing Amiga, but its hilarious in retrospect considering how much RAM we take for granted nowadays.

tell me about it .. i remember all my mates wanting a Hdd for the amiga that was something like 15mb crazy !

I have fond memories of opening that trap door and installing the upgarde .. i felt very grown up and like an IT professional.

it's crazy that internet explorer takes more system resources than my old amiga had all together ! then again .. my first PC had 2mb or ram and aMASSIVE 212mb Hdd

makes you laugh

well I only had 1 amiga ever and it was the Amiga 1200... loved it to death. Unforetunately it went into retirement when I moved houses growing up(in other words I lost it) :( I've still got most of the games though :P at least I can look at the boxes :P hehe

The first Amiga I owned was a 500 with the 1meg upgrade... had to switch disks around a lot with some of those 4 or 5(or more)disk games. The last one I owned was a 2000 HD which had two floppy disk drives and a hard drive. It was upgraded from 512mb ram to 2mb ram. Still have it but it finallydied. That thing was a tank! Had it for decades before it conked out. Still play the occasional Amiga game on our PC with the WinUAE emulator. We had a CD32 CD drive with a Fred Fish compilation disk and theSim City game on CD. The sound that drive used to make... nostalgic.

Originally owned an A600 years ago but parents got rid of it. However, I bought a second hand A1200 off ebay a few years back which I still own. It's in the loft, i really need to get it back down. :P

I got my Girlfriend 600 alive and kicking :D. Unfortunately games just stand on my shelf, cause A600 was a bit too weak for Frontier, and disc juggling is just not my thing. Wings was the worst game when it came for changing discs. BTW Wings is still one of the top WWI airplane simulator.

All Cinemaware games were great in my opinion. Wings, It Came from the Desert, TV Sports Football, Defender of the Crown. Some of these are also available to download at cinemaware.com.

Theyharken back togolden oldiesfilmsandhad great artistic senseas well asgreat presentation and production for the time.

I had amiga 1000

http://www.digicamhistory.com/Commodore%20Amiga%201000.jpg

Fantastic - as someone else said I had a upgrade to 1mb, it was a huge metal box that slotted into the (as you look at it) right hand side. The memory board in it was so lose that if you brushed the desk it was on it would clang about inside and you would then get the famous:-

My last Amiga was a A1200 with graphics card expansion and some extra RAM, and a 40Mb HDD nicely squeezed in with that crappy conversion card you had to use. Some lucky Ebayer got it for about 1/10th of what I poured into it. Sadly missed ...
