sup everyone! thanks for all the responces on my last post!

ok i got a question. right now i have an xbox 360, it's my uncles, he gave it to me because he was goin on a one year vacation thingy to write his new book, he does it every 4 years. Anyway, hes getting back in less then a month, and im guessing he will want that 360 back, so i was thinking of buying one for myself. Right now all i need to know about is graphics, i can figure the rest out myself. i got a (kinda) big HD TV (36 inch 1080), and everyone is saying i should get a PS3 cuz it had better graphics, but when i look at the PS3 at my friends house, it seemed to have kinda worse graphics. So here is my question. Even though PS3 has better hardware, are it's grapics any better (or worse) then the 360's? Which has better grapics PS3 or Xbox 360 in general? Whenever i google it it's all angry fan sights trashing eachother, so i cant really find anything good lol

omg PS3 takes graphics hands-down u gotta remember this is only PS3's 2nd year and this is the 360s like 4th year

People havent even tapped into the PS3's full potential yet(not even close)

Some great games with great graphics on the PS3(and great gameplay) are MGS4(so beautiful best game ever! serisouly) Uncharted Drakes Fortune MotorStorm(original) and pacific rift, LBP(and that game isnt even a graphically powered game but it still looks beautiful) Reistance 1 and 2(coming out tuesday) Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm(anime graphics looks beautiful) Gran Turismo Prologue(looks real serisouly)Heavenly Sword Valkyria Chronicles(this game is actually a year old its alrdy out in japan its just getting ported for EU and US) Ratchet and Clank Future TOD Ridge Racer 7

Some Upcoming games that are guranteed to have some great graphics are Yakuza 3 God of War 3 Killzone 2(omg this game has such realistic graphics its unbelieveable) Infamous Instellar Marines(a virtually unheard of game but awesome graphics so far that ive seen) Gran Turismo 5(the real one)FFVSXIII White Knight Chronicles

You still gotta think this is only the begainning of the PS3's long lifespan while this is mid 360 lifespan and you saw how good the PS2 graphics got well this PS3 will end up being viturally amazing in terms of graphics

he has like 30K posts and hes great use to make the top 25 lists like fastest and did community interviews(one of them was me lol) but he doesnt post like he use too

Sony knows how to use it developors dont thru(but they will) I mean the cell is used in super computers i dont blame developers not knowing how to use it yet they will thru i say next year all games will look like MGS4 or better

trust me PS3 has way better graphics its only the 2nd year being out while the 360 is on its 5th year

Julian is right, you really wont notice the difference between the graphics. It's up to you but i strongly suggest that you will take the PS3 cause for me, it's much better. Gameplay is better than graphics.

I don't think either system has a advantage on graphics wise. In most cases shown that I've seen, the only difference between most of the games were the lighting effects. ( I don't want to start a war in here, I'm just expressing my views on the matter, I do however own two Xbox360's and a PS3). (If you want proof I can post a picture. :P)

My suggestion is that if you can come across money pretty easily, then go ahead and pick up a PS3. If you can't come across money so easily then go with a Xbox360, you can always get the other later down the road.

X360 isn't 5 years old, it came out at the end of 2005. julian_jr

its still like 4(saying 4 cause its almost the end of 08) while PS3 2 another reason why i say graphics are better is because developers like keeping there graphics the same on both consoles to truely tell which graphics are better u have to look at there exclusives(achoo MGS4,Heavenly Sword,Warhawk(pretty good graphics for a multiplayer only game) Uncharted much much more)

Ok, here's what I think. They're both, in terms of graphics, equal. Most developers aren't really taking advantage of the cell so that could be a factor. Just looking at Uncharted and MGS4, they could do better.. I do, however, agree with NuKkU on the matter that devs will "one day" figure out how to work around the cell.

Lol, it's Sonys fault for making a console this difficult to work on. Were as on the 360, its easier to work on..

failure i serisouly doubt that the only reason why people didnt buy it in the begainning is because it really didnt have a good line-up but now more and more games are comin and the free online factor brings people in and sony alrdy said PS3 will start making a profit late next year

I also find it funny about that microsoft only has there console on the market for 5 or 6 years while the PS2 will be 10 years the PS1 was about 7 years and the PS3 is aiming for about 10 years

the graphics werent far superior they were a lil superior

Also the cell will be a long time probably even pass the 10 year mark cause that thing is used in super computers

I have to disagree the gamecube had alot of potential it had better graphics then the PS2 and Xbox(which is really good) nintendo just couldnt get any worthwhile exclusives on it that wasnt there own 2 great exclusives i had Tales of Symphonia(BEST TALES GAME EVER) and RE4(was exclusvie for a time) It was great just couldnt get enough worthwhile exclusives
