Get a bug zapper? A bug zapper isn't enough to keep them away. That's why I prefer the middle of the day. Another plus is how often girls are in bikini at the middle of the day 8)
Besides the early evening, another part I love about summer is thunder storms. I find it really fascinating how it can be sunny then just suddenly, clouds roll in and the thunder starts roaring.

Its only like 55F right now :( No, I meant that people who are not from Florida swim in the Winter, but us locals find any water that's less than 80F too cold. Most Floridians (though not myself) find anything under 60F (about 15.5C) is freezing.

I actually adapt better to the cold than most Floridians. I usually just need a t-shirt and a light hoodie on most cold days. It doesn't get much colder than 40F (4C) here, and I dress lightly without getting cold.
