I automatically respect an individual that can place his thoughts in writing without making an absurd amount of grammatical error. I also like users who can develop their responces.

I tend to post long responses in comments/forums that mostly make sense.
At Lance: I always hate myself when I make run-ons or other grammatical errors after submitting a forum post and blog post! Then again I see a lot of people spell "you're" as "your" on their own posts.
Even a few my peers in college would confuse "they're" with "their" (and other mispronounced words/phrases) when submitting a final draft for english papers :? I admit that I may confuse word choices and am very careful with words that somewhat sound the same (I would revise my papers/etc. about 3-4 or more times before handing it in before the due date and still see a few mistakes from my instructor!)
They add something to the thread that well thought through or are funny. Roll call threads is an exception though. horgen123
Yeah, that's basically it. Then there comes the random guy, Mr. Wodka. A.K.A. Me.
I'm not surprised with the amount of easy grammatical error that college students make. Many students are press for time (procrastinators) or never had good writing skills. I'm a constant revisionary because I find that what write first is pretty bad (not grammatically, but my choice of words). At Lance: I always hate myself when I make run-ons or other grammatical errors after submitting a forum post and blog post! Yes thats a good point. At first I was like WTF? But then I found out why and that I'm fine with since its readable and for the most part is right. Its not like his thoughts are back words like one user I can think of that isn't hereWell if it's Paper I'm okay with it, he's much more fluent in Spanish than in English, so any grammar errors he makes are excuseable for me, plus he's still able to make his point.

At Lance:
I am a procrastinator, but for some reason this isn't a bad thing for me. When a paper/project isn't due until a few weeks, I don't know, I just can't think of any ideas on how to start. But when the due date is about 2 or 3 days away, it somehow clicks to me. There are some people that work a lot better when they are pressured. I being one of them. I remember when I worked on my first paper for Art History. I started the paper for the first time and this was about 5 or 6 hours before I headed for that c1ass that evening. I finished the paper after 3 1/2 hours and spent the rest of that time revising the paper 3-4+ times. I handed in the paper and a week later I received an A.
My professor didn't really care about the grammatical errors nor did he marked any errors down (which in this case I found some on my own when I received that paper back). He only cared about the content of what the paper asked us to include.
As for the in-c1ass written tests, most of the students (including me) would write BS that may or may not relate to some of the questions. I did a little of this but I did my best to make it clear and to the point on each of these tests.
But overall, all of my papers, even the written tests, all received A grades. And I really enjoyed the lectures for Art History anyway.
God I write too much...Â
