the first console i ever owned was an Atari 2600. i have also owned the NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo 64, PS1, PS2, X-Box, Gamecube, Dreamcast, and the X-Box 360. i have played a Genesis and Master System before but never owned one, also what systems did you wish you could have bought and why? i wish i had bout the Neo-Geo and Neo-Geo CD because i like fighting games and the Neo-Geo had some awesome games like Metal Slug and King Of Fighters on it.
The first console that I got was the Nintendo 64. I still play it today sometimes. As for other consoles that I own, well I have the Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii.
i still own about 60 games, most of them fighting and the good ones made like Shenmue, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Grandia II, Skies Of Arcadia, and the Street Fighter games made for the Dreamcast.
The Dreamcast had the shortest life out of any console ever made. It only had games come out for it, for only 2 years, although the Dreamcast is still remembered because it had some of the best games ever.

Lol, I actually do remember playing Super Mario World.
Chrono Cross was on the PS1 and took place years after Chrono Trigger, you could team-up with a variety of characters including your nemesis, it was a fun game to play.

I guess thats why I never heard of it before, I never had a Ps1.
the main reason i want the new 80gb hard drive PS that comes with Metal Gear Solid 4 is that it will be backwards compatible with all PS1 and PS2 games right out of the box and will have the Dual Shock 3 controller as well.
First Console I ever had was the SNES when I was two. I have a SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Playstation, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and I hope to have a PS3 by MGS4's release. I still play Goldeneye 007. That game was awesome.

my first console was the atari vcs (first ever video game console) and that was about 1980. then i got an atari 800 (which comes in other varieties such as the 800xl, 130xe, 5200) and then i got an atari st and an amiga. about that time i also got a sega genesis. i also have a gameboy and a gameboy advance. then a ps2 and now an xbox 360.
to this day i still say that the Atari 2600 was the best system i ever owned. the NES would be second followed by the SNES then the PSx and then the 360 and Gameboy Advance.

I had one until it got fried. I miss HD... Once you go HD, it's hard to go back to standard. sorry to hear that, i am trying to save up for an HDTV but every time i do i buy games off my friends since they don't play them anymore and i get a good deal on buying them used with no worries.
