I'll have to say that the Death Reapers in Lament of Innocence gave me the most trouble. Especially on hard mode. (These were flea man type enemies with black hoods and sickles in each hand.)Geusprime
Those little guys really can give you a headache.. They may look small, but they can frustrate someone just as much (if not more) than a hard boss fight.

man those guys in the crazy difficulty are completely annoying, harder than the bosses when they come in band.
in HOD the places where you are attacked by 3 or more harpias are pretty tough too
Most definitly those old school flea men/hunch backs/humping humpers/whatever you want to call them. while it's easy to kill them if you time yourself, if you screw up your timing they will school you. Exspecially in that little portion of the first game where your going to fight frankenstine and those Altir's are dropping them on you. Screw up and your toast before you even have to deal with the white dragons. That part gets a little easier if you collect a bunch of hearts and use the stopwatch sub-weapon. It freezes them long enough for you to walk away and make them disappear from the screen.

The only two enemies that have ever really pissed me off were in Circle of the Moon, the worst of which being the poison killer bees. The Bloody Swords suck, too.ForeverBelmont
The Killer Bees are one of the most annoying enemies in that game. Mostly because they can be taken out with one hit, but the usually move too fast to be hit unless you start attacking them before they're on screen, plus the poison attack dosn't make me like them a whole lot either.
