Since you have Aria of Sorrow, I have beaten all three and I would have to say COTM is awesome, it has challenge and it is actually hard to get 100% of the map because of all the walls... if you are a completion person that is. HoD is fun but COTM is cooler. But that is just an opinion.
I always liked HoD. It was fast paced and the quest was a good length, not to long or to short. The whole thing also felt very old school, thanks to the whip and music. Oh while im on the topic i have a question. Does anyone know why there are no monster descriptions in the Beastiary like in Aria of Sorrow or the PS2 CV games? Is there an item i missed?
Harmony was my favorite of the GBA Castlevanias as well. Felt like the best mix "old school" Castlevania as seen in CotM and "new school" as seen in AoS.
Hmm... I think my favorite would have to be Aria of Sorrow. I really enjoyed the idea of collecting different souls from enemies. The story is also good. I liked the variety of weapons, too.
Circle of the Moon was the only I played, and it's awesome. It definitley looks like the best GBA game. One thing I know for sure is that CotM does have quiet a challenge. The first 2 bosses were easy, then it started getting really difficult.
my order of coolness: AoS (just plain awesome even if he doesn't use a whip) CoTM (loved the powers) HoD (just doesn't compare to the other two, but still a good game)
IMO, i think AoS was the coolest. I was really feeling the atmosphere in that one. The whole castle trapped inside of the eclispe, awesome characters, excellent ending, and of course the Soul System was great. Then in second would be Circle of the Moon. Nathan was a pretty cool character and it was the first Castlevania game I played. Third would be Harmony of Dissonance. This one was ok, I wasnt really feelin it in this one.
