Castlevania adveture rebirth to be revealed on Oct 26th on NINTENDO WEEK if your wii is not set-up, start doing so because next week NEWS on the upcoming WiiWare castlevania are on it ways... and being a video show, well as they say we can expect some FOOTAGE!!!!

Kotaku.com says NEW enemies, traps, music...background similar to SotN era

and they all say RELEASE DATE (in Japan) October 27, 2009...

UPDATED:09/16/09 it seems, according to an article release today by GS, that this game would be release within thos Nintendo Fiscal year..

I agree that adventure was not great in my review but it was ok... :( and this could bethe start .... :oops:

And I will be happy to play this in a big screen (no in the emu of my ds), with nice lil graphics... and who knows they might add some enemies....

yeap, is a remake from teh original, or so we all are assuming. Like what they did with Contra Rebirth. :)

The list/table in ESRB is all the castlevania. I took a pic of the spot where Castlevania Adventure rebirth was. To get that I did a search for castlevania, meaning that all Castlevania past and present appeared, it was a big table I just took a screen pic of the part I was interested on :P 

the rebirth series are not remakes but games made in classic graphics and controls but not remakes now maybe the team behind castlevania will make it a remake or maybe in the same timeline as the gb adventures games at this point we have no real information elbert_b_23

rebirth are the remake of X game but with better graphics, but still old-school beauty... Contra Rebirth is the same game with a better look. 

now we do not know if this is the line of rebirth on that sense or is a new game.. sequel, which I doubt. I`m leaning toward this being a remake, better looking and maybe some lil bonus. :P

Contra Rebirth was apparently just Contra 3 with a few changes and such. Almost but not quite a remake.semianonymous

ok... guys, a rebirth is a remake-like with some mino changes. RE was remake for the GC and was the same exact game with nice graphics and better control scheme (glitch fixed) 

A rebirth is pretty much that and they change some minor features, e.g. adding couple of enemies, changing weapon use...and so on.

So, what did you expect? a new game? Again this is pointing to be the SAME CV:A but with better graphics and some minors changes. 

If you have read my review of adventure the stuff I did not like:

1. the lack of details in background, christopher, or the enemies.

2. small amount of enemies (including a boss that repeat as a regular enemy later on)

3. glicth, limited movement of the character.

I`m not expecting them to fix these (exc the 1st one, that if is not fix I`ll not get the game... yea, right.. well I`ll be :evil: when I get it :P ) but if they manage to change some lil thing on #2 and #3... well :D:D:D:D:D

Castlevania Adventure...i remember alot of bats, zombies, i think birds, and then using ropes to ascent to the next part along with a whip that only had two or so upgrades.

i still remember the first boss being that giant armored knight...he was the coolest

This was probably his idea, but since M2 handles all the Rebirths, I doubt he's going to be directly involved in development

Well obviously i was only assuming, just like everybody else on this topic, because where does it say it's Castlevania Adventure that's being remade? Also, no other ReBirth title have been a remake of one particular game, they've all been original titles, only heavily inspired by older titles.

Anyway i also hope iga is working on that new castlevania about alucard.

@Arpeguiz: well, with the info presented before us it has "castlevania the adventure rebirth" on that one cell in the chart. there is a game called "The Castlevania Adventure", so there is a 90%+ that it that old gameboy game being remade.

Whats a good example of a ReBirth-ed game?(i dont know any) you are sayin rebirth is like what they did with Battlestar Galactica...took the original concept an changed things like characters an stories using the originals concepts.

either way...there wasnt alot in Castlevania Adventures to begin with. the "ReBirth" as i understand it will be more than most likely thing to happen. new settings, characters, enemies, items, plus they might just add the rpg element as well, shoot even add a store clerk guy cuz there werent any of those.

@Ice: he didnt state that Iga was working on it...he did put a "?" after a three periods an a question mark usually means that is a question. thats what i learned in school.

@everyone...who knows what he's working on, most developers are a bit "different" from the normal stock. look a kojima...that dude(or those working for him) love to leak only words or pictures before anything is concrete. its leads to speculation an a huge amount of craziness from its fans.

they keep alot of stuff for CV on the nintendo.

but konami puts out stuff on a regular basis for MGO so its not like they totally favor one over the other.

@greg easy in my mind any company that change its mind after a game gets released exclusively on one system to another shows that they don't care about anything besides money.how would you feel if next halo and gears goes to ps3 and nintendo sent out a press release for wiiware titles coming out this year and castlevania is dated for 3rd Q so it maybe coming out this month or early nextelbert_b_23

Konami is a company. What do companies care about most, above all else? Making money.

It isn't selling out, its a good business choice. That said, based on the trends, Konami has seemingly made the decision to keep these exclusive for one reason or another, possibly exclusively because the Wiimote turned sideways is incredibly similar to the NES controller.

Just a thought...

well, capcom went competely nintendo with RE for a point in time and DMC was only on PS...now they sell to whoever for that one golden thing in life we should all truly care for and adore...MONEY. thats not selling out, its just them fools needed to make bank.

but this topic is getting off topic and i need to go get some Wii points one day to catch up on the Wiiware goods for CV, i only have two of the original games.

Now I never said is a remade, I say Rebirth, now if you take Gradius rebirth and contra rebirth they were both "original" title inspired in another original game. The thing is that both of then are really similar to one game of that series in particular. Contra rebirth is pretty much Contra 3, with some lil addition and differents in weapon use. Gradius has most of teh same lvl with addition. (I do not own contra, but a friend does and I played it, also this can be confirmed to you by any review, being vc-reviews one site that I trus with wiiware/vc reviews.)

Like Hush says Adventure rebirth I guess would be the game that the 1st one should have being, but that either for technology or somewhat it was not. It would be the "remake" of the same character, same story, but with more enemies and lvl. All this are all assumption bc there is no news so far. But I`m SURE that they can not make teh same game bc no many would pay for that aquality of game now at days.

Yeap.... we all are hoping that IGA is still wth that alucard game. I`m pretty sure he work on this one, like he stated some time ago that he wanted to bring a old school back (thus we all assume it was CV3, when he stated right after thatafter all is his fav game)

@Elbert, gregg , whoever else: this is starting to sound like system wars. pls you guys are old here (and one is the leader for god sake) YES most games should go to all plataformer, but this is a bussiness and they are going to do what make them more $$$ and buying a exclusive, well N, sony or xbox pay good $$$ to developers for that. They did it in Castlevania 1. Phantom Bats at the entrance of the last stage.

Then in SotN, several early bosses were recycled. I remember Slogra, Gabion, Karamatsun, Lesser Demon, Werewolf and Minotaur. Aria did this as well, and Ecclesia did with the Giant Skeleton.

yea... but in those game make sense, bc you are stronger so it make sense that you them later and bit them easier... but in this one do not make ANY sense that 1st you need like 9 hit and them boom, 2... :?

Also in those games you have PLENTY enemies, in this one you had like 6 different and they recycle one :?

there has to be, nintendo has it on their fall release schedule, and the new rocket knight adventures is only on PS3 and 360 so you needn't worry.
