Just between these two genres huh?? Well I'm glad you didn't open it up to everything because then I would've been stumped.
Definitely Rock- growing up in the 80's I'm still fond of my hair bands such as Motley Crue, Metallica (though they've transformed), Guns N' Roses, etc......then into my grunge phase with Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Jane's Addiction, Nirvana, etc....
and now it's just a mix.....just started to get back into some newer rock bands, because honestly I've been repulsed by a lot of crap that's been on in the last 5 years.....sorry, whiny vocals don't cut it for me....:P
(I listen to a little rap, but it's not really my style.....though if I hear my husband sing "try to catch me ridin' dirty" one more time I'll beat him up! :lol: )
