OMG... when I read the title The SAME exact thing jumped into my head.... this is going to be hard.. PoR vs CotM AAAAAHHHH *head exploted*
I picked PoR just bc is the one I`m playing now.. and to pick one... but I can not say that I prefer one over the other... ttooo freaking good both of them
I voted for CotM because it was the first Castlevania I have ever played... fond memories... what an amazing game. The credits song in that game were beautiful.
The credits are what scare me, how can he have the holy sword (Mars+Unicorn) in the machine tower and how in the world can he have the ice sheild (Jupiter+Serpent) during the Necromancer boss fight? You can only get the Unicorn card in the battle arena and you can't get jupiter untill you reach the machine tower.
Hard to choose between CoTM and PoR however I have to go with PoR. Two peices particularly are tracks 10 and 13 (in search of the sands i think one is called...the other i cant recall). Both are found in the top of the castle paintings.

I voted for DoS, it had a very nice sound track. Specially in jullius mode i loved the chapel's music and the fight with soma had the best boss fight music i have heard since LoI. Aria had a nice sounstrack too but since bloody tears is in Dawn i had to go for it either that or heart of fire from aria

no imo.. is that they didi not have enough classic song. Is a huge game, so - at least I - was expecting more..
That I remember it does not have any of the "big" tunes, most of the song are repetitive.. and such.. It being a while since the last time I palyed it, but for what i can remember that was my "issue" with it..
