Hellow my fellow lovers of the Castlevania series...

The results of the most love Subweapon are in..

First Place: Axe (6 votes)

Second Place: Cross and Holy Water (each with 4 votes)

I was such a diehard cross guy from the moment I touched the cv series. But I started to find the axe more practical. And I do mix it up a bit here and there so I give Gregg's beloved knife a few tosses when the time calls for it.

but yeah, a wish list, of course this could fit under a different thread. but seeing as this is a sub-weapon genre, it seems fitting.

for example, incense. when it is combined with the ball holder that it burns in plus its chain, id say its a formidable weapon. it is a religious item, its used alot in churchs, it can make your eyes burn, fitting almost of CV. one attack coul dbe to whip it at enemies to burn them, an a super move with it could hurl fire at an enemy. just an idea

Maybe some cool little balls that somehow have actual UV light in it and when you burst them it shines real bright and vaporizes vamipres. (didn't steal this from Blade until it came to mind halfway through the sentence, thought I had an origional idea >_>)

i think that disposable sub weapons would be cool. but then it would be like an item so it wouldn't really be a subweapon.xemnas_is_god

What about the special crush attack of LoI with the blue orb and cross.. but as a regular attack of subweapons?? or even better as an spell :twisted:

i meant like single use sub weapons, that you must ration out through the game. like if the axe was just one axe, and you threw it over a cliff, you ain't gettin it back.:Pxemnas_is_god

well.. in a way that is what HEART/energy bar represent. Thus it would be crazy if it item had that feature of games like SH where after a certain amount they brake, of course no all items, but the easy to find like axes in PoR..

What about spells??

That serpent .. I have always love that thing.. in CotM and specially in PoR looks so sweet.

and I find the lil frogs from PoR so cute and usefull (this are rarely found together :lol: )

and you can hit the priest in PoR.. he would curse you sometimes or just cry :lol:

@Hush: I hated taht btw...the same happen to me several time, I remember one time I was saving my heart for one boss and did that.... :evil:

i was really freaked out a few hours ago, i completed DoS, and was playing Julius mode, i was fighting Dmitri and i threw the axe, then the guy throws one back at me, i was really freaked out, i never thought that there would be any none-belmont enemy that could use the sub-weapons

Well, with Dimitrii, he does absorb (almost) any magic based attack you use. If it uses magic, he can prolly absorb it. He can absorb/reuse Yoko's spells and alucards hellfire as well.

yeah, but the walking around an whippin up everything to get a heart took awhile. i remember there is one spot in SotN, there there are 2 candles that have larger hearts in em. an i would just run back an forth between that room an whip the candles to get the hearts to re-stock. it worked fast. an it was in the center of the castle an there were two doors on the side, an then three different routes going up(if you decide to look it up)HushRong

for some reason I`m never able to find that room... I even try once with a faq.. and nope... Thus is not as bad as collecting heart (money) in CV2 :P
