^yeah that really annoys me. At the UGU I'm pretty strict on keeping things On-Topic, although I have loosened up slightly over the years.
Just found this, topic is over 3 years old lol, but got bumped.
Doctor Gamers Union
Never actually formed suprise, suprise. Would actually be intriguing to see, but on GameSpot? I doubt there are enough Doctor GameSpotters. It would be interesting to know how many people on GameSpot are people of high professions...
I've seen unions that have are about two unrelated games. I believe that I saw a Pokemon Kingdom Hearts union just awhile ago.
Although I'm not trying to bash the creator or the union, I find the idea of having a union about both Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts ridiculous because they are two very different RPG games. I don't see how you could really talk about both in one topic.Â

I think it's worst when a union has mostly OT topic, but is not an OT union.lancelot200
In most cases, yes. It usually doesn't work out. However, there are a few select cases where a union can still focus on a topic in gaming while often deviating, but still not cave in on itself. Two unions I'm Officer in are very good example of it, the two of them being Organization KH and Platformer Paradise.
On a side note, I've noticed a lot of old topics from the recruitment thread are being bumped up. I wonder if people read dates on the posts anymore?
I saw a union called "Trash Can". It appears to be about weird things or something like that. :?GamerofMario1
I remember seeing that union. I was considering joining it when it was first formed, but because of the overpopulation of off-topic unions, I decided not to. I think it died within a couple of months anyways.

Agreed.
With a name like Trash Can, you can't really take it seriously.
