I do kind of have a problem with it. Part of the strategy in picking teams was to pick cards with active owners, I don't think it would be fair to let a new person act as a replacement in mid-battle.

@Vegeta: After this battle there will be a second battle with the winner of both of the current battles fighting each other. If you're still active at that time then you will be able to join one of the teams.
