As to the op; wc3 and sc were pretty sweet. Notice i say 'were' due to blizzard having sold out to vivendi long ago, who since has ruined most everything they've touched from the old games.
Personally i think that WC3 had far more intricate stratagies than SC anyday. Starcraft was a spam war that had everything to do with your macro and almost no micro whatsoever and Warcraft was the total micro and army manipulation duel (altho macro also played a key roll). Starcraft multiplayer was also very linear while wc gave the losing guy a chance with its experiance system and 'creeps.' Starcraft was however older and warcraft3 took alot from the title. Both were good games, but without a doubt warcraft is still the worlds most skill intensive rts and down right most popular rts ever released.
WOW was pretty plain vanilla with little direction, and messed up balance with its character classes fairly early on and never really went anywhere in the top end levels. I really thought that game had alot of potential and played it for a very long time, but i could write a very lengthy book as to major mistake after mistake they made with the title.
I used to be the biggest blizz fanboi you would ever meet, but today i am probly the biggest hater of this corporation you will likely encounter. Blizz is a shell company now riding on the originality and hard work of ages long past and are just sucking dry everything they can get thier hands on from the old corpse. Almost none of the same employees still remain within the company, all their stuff looks like cartoons, and everything they do is dumbed down more and more, with less and less thought or skill required to play thier titles.
Perhaps a microcasm of the industry as a whole.
