RPG of the year thread - poll now open

Nominations - here is a broad range of games for you to consider for your RPG of the year. Discuss in this thread and vote on the poll above for what you want to be Dccecision Based Gamings RPG of 2008.

Fable 2 (Xbox 360)

- The eagerly anticipated sequal to Fable (Xbox and PC). This sees you return to Albion with a mythical and dangerous quest awaits. Making moral decisions which will impact your character and the environment around you, you fight to save lives or to save yourself. With micormangament in stat building and tasks like jobs, house ownership and more this game expands upon the original.

Valkyria Chronicles (Playstation 3)

- The anticipated Sega exclusive for Playstation 3 sees the player take forces in Europe during the 1930's. This is a nod to World War 2 in a Real Time Strategy/RPG hybird for the Playstation 3. Featuring fantastic cell shaded graphics, emotive story, and much more this is a game RPG fans have lapped up.

Fallout 3 (PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3)

- Welcome to valut 101, may you never leave.... Playing as a user creater character, every single decision you make in the game will impact the enivronment and relationships with AI players. Do you help or hinder people? Are you all for one or do you take it all for you and stat buidling. Killing AI players will affect your stats and will affect how others react around you, what will you do? 

Chrono Trigger (Nintendo DS)

The legendary Square RPG from Super Nintendo has transitioned from Super Nintendo via Playstation to your handheld. What effects on time will you choose to take and how will you help your team defeat the bad guys? With some very slight alterations and new content into the DS version of this game, it is a retro persons dream game to finally be able to play on the move. Will you help do what needs to be done?

Final Fantasy 4 (Nintendo DS)

The multi million selling Square Enix series is back on DS. After the success of Final Fantasy III on DS, Square has remaded Final Fantasy IV. Know your gill from your chocobo, then this game is for you. Playing the emotive and difficult game has never been so easy now its portable, featuring improved graphics and videos, this game is for the Final Fantasy fan is you. Will you vote for it?

Well, I woulda voted Infinite Undiscovery (Minority, since I like Tri-ace games), but among this list...

Fallout 3 gets my vote.

Chrono Trigger, mainly because of the nostalgia factor. Fallout 3 will probably win this.
