The Fable II Thread

Fable II is a game where decisions affect the outcome of the story and the world you play in. Will you be getting Fable II when it comes out? If so, will you be a hero or a villain?

As always, I will be a hero! Although, I will be a polygamist...

On October 24th, I'll be buying Fable II, Far Cry II and Little Big Planet.......Best Day Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll probably be somthing in the middle, WhatEver is most profitable to Me....thats what I'll be......Just Like Real Life.

I probably wont be getting this game. I am not a fan of free roaming RPG's which is very odd as I like Football Manager, Locomotion etc and they are nothing but open world games with no endings :?Garfield360UK

Molyneux did say the sequel is more streamlined, but it's still an open game. How do we feel about the co-op not being included at launch? I think it's fine that they want to get it right without delaying it alltogether, but I wish I could play with friends at the beginning of the story as well. I'll probably have finished the game by the time it updates if it takes longer than a week or two. One should note that you can still see the orbs and trade and chat with them.

I should be getting the game on launch. I hope it lives up to all the hype. I will be evil fyi. I always am. I would try to go good from the start but then stray from the path and fall into the pit of wickedness.

To be honest I probably wont get this game, it just doesnt interest me due to the open world nature and time consuming elements to RPGS. I like a game I can do in a few days like Half Life Blue Shift. I used to love RPGs but I find I dont have the patience or time anymore.

Fable II Site Grants In-Game Prizes

I got a chicken costume... I'm a little disappointed :P

Aye, there's the chicken costume, a LionHead Tattoo, a Book Of Evil or SomeThing, A Doll, and mascara or SomeThing like that.Also, the chicken game gives a 1000 Gold with each 1000 points.Havent Been Able to load the site....I Guess EveryOne flocking to it.

I mainly want The Book Of Pranks, or WhatEver its called, since I Imagine it gives you extra Emotes.Still havent been Able to get on the site, probably since My Connection's a bit wonky. I Thought the 1000 Gold thing was Pretty WorthWile, but an american guy that AllReady has the game told Me that when your A Master BlackSmith, Every succesfull Sword Gives you 500 Gold......So, suddenly it all Feels less significant.

By The Way, did anyone here cheat with The Pub Games????I, MySelf, havent even bought the game........

I have seen the game for the same price as normal edtion, but I still cant decide whether to take a risk with Fable 2.

(P.s I wander what the ranged wepon is, Spartan Laser? :P)

It would be pretty funny if there was actually a way over the top ranged wepon to go with the power sword. Will this content stay to limited editions or will it be future DLC? I could get the limited edition for a pound more than the normal one.

When you get the friends thread going I shall see, it would be nice to get some more people on so we can do multiplayer events like Benny and myself have known from Ultimate Racers Paradise.

Its just deciding to get this game now or not :?

I'll be buying this on Friday when it comes out here. It's been though watching so many people on my Friend's list playing it already...

Speaking of which, I have a person on my Friend's List that is playing Gears of War 2 :shock:

I am not sure, I want to get it but there are many other games I want as well :(

Its out in USA Benny (Fable 2 I mean) but it got leaked in the UK by some chain stores selling early by mistake. Gears of War 2 is possibly a reviewer doing it but I am lead to believe its leaked online for aquaring in illegal ways, I dont like that, but then again as long as we dont get people spaming out the ending to ruin the game its not really a massive issue for us. For Microsoft they will ban the people who are caught and I believe IP banning is coming soon where they ban your IP address online which means you could be forced to change internet provider if banned online as well as your console so its not worth it at all.

I just finished the main storyline. I'm not extremely satisfied by this game... I think it could have been a lot better, but it's still a decent game. I'm just not as amazed by it as many people seem to have been. I really liked the part where... well, I guess I can't describe it without spoiling. But it's the most interesting part, which I guess others who played it will recognize. It's the scope and design of it that displeases me. But again, I didn't hate it either!

I still need to finish the achievements. I'd like to do the co-op achievements with someone, even if I have to be a henchman :P Let me know if you're in.

I will help you out there if you like. What cheevos do you need besides the co-op ones?

You need to buy a Lute! Find it in a General store (like the big shop near the entrance to Bowerstone Market, opposite of the carriage). Start playing to people and they will not only love you, but you will get a higher good rating because the lute is divine or something...

Just to be clear, I'm not saying I can't sacrifice people because I don't want to sacrifice my rating, it's because I literally am not able to. It's hard to explain without spoiling the story...

I am thinking of getting the DLC for GRID but the new Fallout 3 dlc is out at the end of this month so I may wait for that then get a points card for GRID content (I shall see).

I am slightly disapointed to find the expansion may be glitched as I can not finish it as I can not get the final part of the quest to load so it looks as though unless a patch to fix this is out soon I may have to wait to do this in a new save file :(
