Chinese Checkers anyone?

I just had a cool idea. What if we picked a time (like say a thursday night at 8 or something) and created a private Chinese checker game at yahoo for our union members only? I have a yahoo account and I'm sure many others do as well. If not it is completely free. That way we could talk, play, and have bragging rights. If you like it cool, if not let me know. I'll check this wednesday night when I'm back at work and see if its worth doing. Thanks. :wink:

We can teach you. Its pretty easy. I like chess as well but CC fit because one, its chinese, and two six people can play.

I think from Russia, but don't take my word for it. basically, in CC, there's a six pointed star with different colored points. The star is made of pegholes, and little pegs of different colors go around and somehow eliminate ofther colors by capturing their point, or base. When only one color is left, that color wins.

The idea of the game is to manipulate your marblesacross the board to occupy the star point directly opposite. Never removea marble after a jump is made. All marbles stay on playing board. Sorry for not getting back sooner but I am getting over strep throat. Oh yeah! Real friggin fun!! I havent been this sick for a long time, and your talking to someone that had very bad health problems when he was young. Hell, sometimes I still do.

Anyway, it doesnt HAVE to be CC, but like I said it fits. It can be any game. Chess, checkers, pool, whatever, but CC also gives us six people to play at once so you wouldnt have to wait so long before your turn. By the way I really like mahjong as well. There didnt seem to be a big approaval so I say unless you guys really want to do it we should forget about it. But even if their is only a few, let me know and we can still do it. (Im kind of still groggy):|

Im 99% sure it is, at least originated from, China. I have seen some chinese dudes play it before. It was cool. I play it, but only by myself. A tile game I do play, and love, is dominoes. The normal kind of game mostly, sometimes turkey foot.
