hmm i think i read and article or something lyk dat on the net how it said that kind of things about Chinese History becuz it was a dissgrace or something lyk dat but i dont remba much but its kinda sad dat they dnt knw wat happened in the past or they might of tried 2 forget or somethin but the Chinses History is really cool 2 learn so yea....
It would seem they treat it more like a "Romantic story." (duh....title). But they do know some poeple from that time. Like you can go into basically any police station and can find somwhere in there a statue of Guan Yu. They kind of look to him for strength and protection.:| . The book is (or at least used to be) a very big hit with most of the asian cultures, so dont let them fool you. Chinese and most asian cultures are secertive about there culture and past. Its a pride thing. Just like when Bruce Lee wanted to teach non-chinese the martial arts,....they head "old guys" wouldnt let him. He had to earn the right (through combat) to teach. Oh......and any indepth, true follower of Bruce will tell you he was finally killed by them. I have a hard time beleiving otherwise.

Before I found out about Koei I did not like the Chinese but because of all the time I spent playing RTK and DW and Kessen and Dynasty Tactics and all that fun stuff I decided to take Intro to Chinese Civ in college, I got my books already and I looked ahead and we are gonna be learning about the Three Kingdoms era and about Cao Pi as well. Cant wait

I second that the Chinese love their history they are the longest lasting true power civilization though they have had their ups and downs one thing that they do always have is their history they love storing their literature from scriptures to stone slabs to carvings on bones the CHinese have kept it all so that in the future they may look to them for guidance.
