Native Americans aren't truly native, which is why I think the term is ridiculous.  Much like the term "African-American" to describe all black people.  Unless you were born in Africa, and came to America as an immigrant, you're NOT African-American, otherwise I demand to be called European-American (lol, my friend and I had a speech about that).

The only truly native people are Africans whose family never migrated anywhere, since life began in Africa. 

Everyone else's ancestors = immigrant at some point in time
