I try to get 70's, cuz that is passing. Anything that is 69 or lower is failing in my district.

DAMN! Why the hell is US so harsh on grades?
Well, it sucks for my district... 60% used to be passing, then, when I hit 8th grade, they changed passing to 70%. That was hard for me to adjust to. I failed Algebra multiple times cuz of that. Hell, that's why I may be going to summer school, cuz of Algebra 2... I don't understand why the have a sequel to it, lol, I mean damn, they have Pre-Algebra, and Algebra, why we need three ****in classes about the same thing?
for me:
7th grade: Pre-algebra
8th grade: Algebra (I passed barely, but the ***** teacher recommended summer school, and after summer school, a mix-up forced me to retake algebra again)
9th grade: Algebra (I was in this class with my best friend, all we did was write rhymes and ****, and distract everyone. We created a vortex, everyone that sat next to us failed, lol)
10th grade: Algebra (****in finally passed it, technically for the second time), and Geometry (passed with ease, I'm good with it's visual style)
11th grade: Algebra 2 (I had such a low grade, I had no chance of passing, so I dropped it in the third marking period, with another class. Now I go to school at 12:30 PM)
As a bonus, I had the same teacher for Algebra in 9th and 10th grade, and in Algebra 2 in 11th grade. She's cool, and she knows how I am, and jokes with the class all the time about me. hell, I used to, as well. I made a joke out of my grades, earning me a lot of laughs.
