Ok, I've got some good news and some awesome news

Let's start with the good news, I found a demo of Dynasty Warriors 6 for PC in Japanese, I think it's the siege of He Fei castle, but there's only one playable character and that's Lu Xun :P

You can get it here, but after I installed it, the game said I needed some other file to play it, so I got that too, if this also happens to you, get the file that seems to be missing here

Then to the awesome news, I was looking for some info on the demo when I happened to stumble upon the wikipedia article about DW6. I could barely believe me eyes when I saw this "A Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires has been announced for the PlayStation 3. It will be unveiled at the 2008 Tokyo Game Show."

I guess maybe some knew, maybe some don't believe me, but at least we all have something to be excited for at TGS :P

on the PS3 there is a performance feature that dynamically lowers the quality of any non-player character so that the gfx engine doesn't have to work as hard. it's supposed to preserve framerates. so the more there is going onscreen the less detailed the models - at least on DW6.

of course that might not be what's going on there since it's the PC version and the PC version probably doesn't depend on more than a processor or two at most. so it may just keep the models at a lower detail level. but note how crisp Lu Xun looks compared to the other characters....maybe....

Actually, DW6 on PC relies on the processor power of your PC, more men on screen and less detailed graphics, you only need a ~125 MB Graphics card to play this in good quality but a whole lot of more processor power
