I am currently putting togeather a new Hurt/Heal game, which mostly amounts to getting togeather a long list of minor officers to serve as cannon fotter for the early stages of the game. A tedious, boring task whose main difficulty lies in motivating myself to get started. Anyhow, I'll try to be done by the end of the week, so until then enjoy what is left of the classic that started it all: the glory that is Hurt/Heal Instant death!!!
Since this is coming in at the final chapter of he game, here is a summery of what came before. Hurt/Heal started right off the bat with Lu Bu killing Liu Bei and his brothers, while everyone else was killing each other. Lu Bu started gaining momentum, until everyone else joined togeather and took Lu Bu down, with Ma Chao delivering the killing blow.
Heroes continued to fall in increasingly comidic and grafic ways, with Ma Chao quickly coming to prominance. A feud developed between him and Sun Jian, one that nearly destroyed the world. It was a conflict of the ages, with neither side backing down, no mercy shown, or quarter given. Wei remianed fairly neutral during this conflict, concentrating mainly on rouges like Zuo Ci, if attacking at all. Finally, Ma Chao prevailed over Sun Jian and the Sun family, leaving Wu nerely decimated. But out of this catastrify rose Zhou Tai, a mighty hero who soon became unstoppable. One by one, Ma Choa's men fell before him, until even Ma Chao was slain (rather ignominiously) by Zhou Tai. Shu was destroyed, leaving only Zhuge Liang and some minion left, while Wu consisted soley of the seemingly invincible Zhou Tai. It was the end of an era, during which most people quite due to their character being slain.
Zuo Ci had set up a world wide crime syndicate during the end of this second age. As the world was exhausted from wholescale slaugter, the remaining few heroes temporarily banned togeather to put an end to Zuo Ci's terrorist network. While they failed to finish off Zuo Ci due to the indvidual ambitions of the coalitions members, they did end the threat Zuo Ci posed. This police action saw the true begining of the last great champion, Xiahou Dun. Gaining strength enough to challenge Zhou Tai from this conflict, as well as his feats over the previous wars, he struck quickly and hard at Zhou Tai. Tai, shocked into inaction, barely rallied himslef in time to prevent a quick and sudden demise. Xiahou Dun had thus gainde the upper hand, but failed to eliminate Zhou Tai. And so, the Final War began, Between the only two heroes left: Zhou Tai and Xiahou Dun. It is during this conflict that the following thread enters......
