This might not include DW but its dealing with the same time frame so I figured I'd go ahead and share this idea I've had rolling around in my head for awhile. I'm thinking that the next Total War game should be set during the Three Kingdoms era, and be like Rome: Total War, except of course fitting the Chinese setting. Also, including things like the ability to trigger fire attacks with fire arrows and other stratagems of that sort, as well as naval combat (finally) for battles like Chi Bi, and you've got a game that I'm sure any DW and/or ROTTK fan would just eat up. How's about it, good idea or what? Feel free to add any suggestions.
I don't think so. The SW vs DW thread is more about a hybrid warriors game, while this is about a different genre of game, actually. Don't know whether anyone here has played Rome: Total War but it is a real time strategy game were you command a nation from an overhead 3D map with cities and mountaines and stuff, then zoom in and command huge armies when a battle unfolds. I don't really think you could incorporate DW type action into a game like this (hence the lable "kinda off-topic"), but such an addition would be great if it is properly implemented.
