Xu Huang and Zhang Liao were both very good strategists, and Zhang Fei is underrated (his win-loss record is considerably better than Guan Yu's). And Ma Chao must've done something right in order to take Chang An. Sun Ce never did much strategically speaking (that was Zhou Yu's job), but he was a very strong leader and was just as ballsy as Sun Jian was.
After all, these are Tiger Generals. This is for manly men, not for pansies like Zhuge and Sima!

Anyhow, jokes aside, my 5 tigers would be: Ma Chao, Xiahou Dun, Sun Jian, Zhang Liao, and Lu Bu
As a side note, I love how when having Ma Chao as the faction leader in DW5E, his version of the title is "The 5 Splendid Generals."
On DW5:E, when you've gotten a few provinces and have five officers (whom can be of the unique "playable" variety or the generic kind) who have been in alot of battles, you get a cut scene where your ruler annoints them as his five best generals. Its done in typical over dramatic DW style, and while most officers just use the title of "5 tigers," some may use their own version of the rank. Ma Chao seems to prefer to annoint his cronies "The Five Splendid Generals." I dont know who else specifically uses a different term other than "tiger" in that cut scene though.

Meng Huo use "The Five Great Nanman" SSX uses "Shang Xiangs Five" Cao Cao has his "Five Great Generals".
Zhao Yun, Zhang Liao, Ma Chao, Xiahou Dun, Guan Yu. I would definately say Dian Wei, except he's a bodyguard, not a general. Xu Huang is up there too, but I can only have five, so I had a rock-paper-scissor tournament to decide.
Five tigers General? You mean the big-five-highest-level officer? That always comes out randomly, but I've recognized the way to SELECT as I like and mine are...you're looking at them...:D
