As most you know unions here at GS don't have the best track record of unions keeping up and active especially for a year! Are you hounestly surprised that the EoNU has made it to it's first anniversary and with these type of numbers?
You know, I really didn't know what to think when this union formed. I don't think I ever imagined it would be where it is today. But with great leadership this union did it.
Honestly really thought it would do well. I joined this union after checking out a lot of other Nintendo unions and this one appealed to me cause it was something I knew would last. Unlike many other unions this one is about Nintendo's evolution which few if any others focus on. You see unions that focus on a franchise or system can be good but they tend to lose activity at some points due to lack of news but with this one evolution of Nintendo will always continue and hence we will always have stuff to discuss. Been a part of huge MG fansite forum all along and it gets to points where all u do is talk with friends and not so much about the certain topic. Thats why I at least thought it was unique, and it's huge success is tribute that people want to hear about Nintendo's history and future. This is part of the reason I tend to focus on the old school aspect on the union btw cause I believe it will get many people to join as it did with me. :lol:
As for me i was not at all sure of where this union would go,But i developed a good working relationship with REVOLUTIONfreak and the other charter members so i stuck with it,and boy i'm glad that it did cause here we are celebrating the first anniversary!!
In the beginning I wasn't so sure. The union started to fall into a dip like most unions do. But with the buzz created by Old School Day the union was back on track and thenforth I knew the union was here to stay.
