We have recently been peppered with some gimmicky spin-offs about the furry ape. Still, I think the old platformers (DKC) and even the marginally recent one (DK 64) were just better fits overall. Now, I know that good ol' Rareware was behind the D.K. platformers but why couldn't Nintendo try to do one of their own. Their legacy of quality would insure that the new game would be appropriately created. Maybe I'm just daydreaming but hey, isn't anyone agreeing with me?
I know a lot of people didn't like DK64 but I loved it. Any platformer with D.K. written on it sounds good to me so....I'm just hoping...dreaming....anticipating...

lol - i thought you meant OLD school, as in him being the bad guy throwing barrels at mario! i don't miss that. i never really cared for any DK games really. DKC was ok.
Yes, I still have the 3 Donkey Kong games for my SNES. Personally, I'm getting tired of the Konga games. I enjoyed Jungle Beat for GC because it remind me of the good times. It is time the old platforms to return.

Donkey Kong 64 had amazing graphics and was so much fun to play especially the theme song kicked ass beyon any other sog at the time. Donkey Kong country which i played a couple of days ago was also sweet and so much fun t play and as i mentioned earlier the bonus game with the ostrich was crazy funÂ
