As Nintendo fans, we jump at the sight of a new Zelda, Mario, or Metroid game. But, will we see a new Zelda game this year? Some claim that it is "too soon" for a new Zelda game. Well, I claim BS. Think about it, Majora's Mask was released only two years apart from both Majora's Mask and WindWaker, which means that aside from TP' lengthy development time a Zelda game is released on average about once every two years. That, of course, doesn't mean that we won't see new info for two years. By this time next year, we could very well be on the verge of a new Zelda being released... and business wise it would make a lot of sense considering Nintendo's big three are being released this year anyway.

So, therefore, will we see a new Zelda trailer at least? I certainly hope so, and if it has been in development as long as it is rumored to have been, then it should be even better! Either way, I guess we'll find out in less than two days!

They won't be showing too much PH stuff (aside from maybe a demo), so yeah, I think Zelda Wii has a good chance of sneaking in there.

I'm really not sure whether or not there will be news of a new Zelda for Wii. However, if there has been one in development for quite some time, then I'm sure that Nintendo will reveal it to the public at this year's E3. If it's only in the early stages of development though, I don't think Nintendo will reveal it until the next big game convention.

I don't think so. I doubt they game is in the development stage yet, and if it were it would still be to early to show the game. I don't expect to hear anything about a new Zelda until next year.

I hope not, I'm not a Zelda fan. Instead of seeing another Zelda game being talked about, why not talk about something I like ... Mario Kart, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, etc.

Why would Nintendo talk about a Capcom game during their press conference :?

Anyway, you make it sound like the space is crowded for their E3 Press Conference, when in reality we have absolutely no idea what to expect from them during their conference. Chances are they'll definitely talk about Mario Kart if it exists, and then we'll see a teaser trailer of the next Zelda... but they'll remain very secretive about it.

RevolutionFreak, you practically made me salivate w/ all those reasons why Nintendo might announce another Zelda game in your first posts. Oh I hope they do!! They surely must already be working on another one, it's just a matter of will they be so kind as to let us in on it?

I didn't know that RE:UC wasn't going to be talked about, it was in the E3 games for Nintendo so I thought they would give info on it. I'm not really sure about games owned by Nintendo, and I don't know more than you so please bare with me. I'm only saying that I rather hear about RE:UC or Mario Kart rather than Zelda. I didn't know they wouldn't talk about. I guess I'm "stupid."

Lol, let's settle with hoping that Nintendo talks about all of the games we want to hear about, that way everybody is happy. :P

They may show a tiny teaser trailer, but if they did not, I would not be disappointed.

I like Zelda games but it's to early to say. Phantom Hourglass is coming out this year I am not bothered about the annoucement of a new Zeldagame. It might possibly be another year orso before we hear anything about the new Zelda on the Wii. I think there will be a new Zelda on the Wii in the future but Phantom Hourglass is coming out soon and Iam really looking forward to that.

It'll be at least mentionned, if not then showned as a trailer. But the game will most certainly come in 2008.

Don't you guys remember when the first Zelda TP trailer was showned ? It was a year after the release of Wind Waker and now were almost a year after the release of Zelda TP. E3 is still the best place to amaze with huge news so I'm pretty sure that we'll see a trailer tomorrow. Well mostly I hope so because I'm a Zelda freak :P.

Same here:D. Evidence supports of annoucing a new Zelda tomorrow. I think that there is a good chance of Nintedno that there is one in the making. However, it wouldn't be released unitl late 2008 or 2009.

I never said you were stupid :(

Resident Evil is a property of Capcom though, and it is very unlikely that Nintendo will talk about it during their conference. We'll definitely see a demo on the showfloor from Capcom, but that is about it. Nintendo's press conference is meant for them to focus on their own plans for the year though, it is very rare that they even acknowledge third parties during their press conferences. Heck, I was surprised when they pulled out a Red Steel stage demo last year.

O ok! That's probably why it's included! Because it's going to be on the showfloor. Thanks.

Well, if this Zelda is anything like TP, we won't see it until 2009. :P Besides, considering how we've heard nothing on Nintendo's part about the game, I seriously doubt we'll even get a new Zelda by the end of 2008. ;)
