Is anyone else hopeful that Kingdom Hearts III will go to the Wii?

For those of you that have read my blog, you'll know that I've recently become a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series. Now, I am very eager to see whether or not Square-Enix and Disney opt to put Kingdom Hearts on the Wii... or perhaps even the DS? The series could potentially work very well on the franchise, you could control the game in a Zelda-like fashion, and perhaps use gestures to cast spells. Not to mention they could use Nintendo worlds as imagined by the EGM editors.

What do you think?

I actually want to see that happen, the trailer for the third one made me drool so badly but if it's only a RPG then I'll pass.

I would like to see the game on the Wii, if only because it seems that a vast amount of people want it that way. Since I don't generally enjoy the series as much as most others, it really doesn't make too much of a difference to me whether or not it comes on the Wii, but for the sake of everybody else, I'd like it that way. :)

you might want to change ur title from kingdom hearts 3 because they even announced that they wont be calling it kh3 it will still be called kingdom hearts but notkh 3. its gonna follow other charactersthat are some how connected to sora and riku.

Oh yeah that would knock out Nintendo's E3 conference out of the ball park if it happened. The thing is because this game was under development before somehow I feel it wont come to the Wii but more likely the PS3. If thesequel is still far off then I guess it could happen on the Wii. Who knows whateverit is I just hope they give us a date for it, just not fall 07 too many games coming out then.

I wish it would, but unfortunately, I do not seeing it happen.  The trailer did make me drool, however.  :P

Yeah, I had that bit of info in the back of my mind when I posted this, but was unsure of whether or not it was true or not. Either way though Kingdom Hearts III has to land on one of the platforms, and hopefully that spin off will end up on a handheld like the DS, that way the wait won't be so long for the new numbered title.

Yeah, kind of like Chain of Memories, which coincidentally I'm about to finish playing right now :P

I honestly think that it would have been on a Nintendo platform in the first place if it hadn't been for Nintendo's poor relations with not just third parties, but Square-Enix in particular. Nintendo's audience better suits the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

I could easily see Kingdom Hearts coming to Wii. It's selling like hot cakes which is a good incentive for Square. And the targer auidence is, whether you like it or not, suited more towards Wii.

That's makes good sense how Nintendo lacked third party support. Maybe Nintendo and Square will come to terms and release a KH game on Wii. Wouldn't that be nice :D

Hey, didn't Square announce that it'll be shifting support to the Wii? Hopefully this'll include the next KH.

The DS would be great as well for KH. A KH game would have a better chance on the DS than the Wii.
