What do you guys think will happen to the Metroid series after Prime 3? Do you think that the series will disappear for another 10 years like before, or do you think spin offs will be made? I actually dont like Metroid Prime that much, so I could actually care less

I think after 3 they might do another one as the very last chapter of MP and then maybe they will do another spin-off for a while.

I think after 3 they might do another one as the very last chapter of MP and then maybe they will do another spin-off for a while. I would like to see it as Nintendo's FPS title. If they can come out with a Multiplayer version to play online, the life of the title would be drastically extended.

Metroid Prime is a trilogy though oh, I didn't know that (also not a big fan) I think a 3rd person Metroid would be awesome, or a 3-D side-scroller for the DS. Maybe a MMORPG would be cool
i hope that the metroid does not die after so many years because all of the metroid games are brilliant, my favorite metroid has to be the metroid for nses and i really hope that it is remade for the wii
i would hope that they would put it up for a couple years anyway and retro do a completely new IP, maybe re-work that old game they were doing before.
i don't want to see someone else take over dev for prime - it's one of my favorite franchises now. i'd like to see it stay with retro, and i'd like to see them crank something else amazing out. bring prime back in a few years....depending on how 3 ends...picking up from there, maybe like a war style game in the future.
They might do what a lot do. Like go back to the past before she was a bounty hunter and all. I'll be really surprised and disappointed if the series ends. I'd rather not have another great series like Prince of Persia end.
