If this is true, then I'd better go reserve my copy, and fast.
I'm not surprised, and I can think of a reason.
Metroid Prime is not a system seller by any means. Frankly, its sales are average compared to other Nintendo franchises, if you need further proof that this game already isn't very popular just check out Gamespot's ten top Wii games list. Metroid is number seven, only three weeks away from its release. Go to other sites and you'll find that Metroid isn't even on the list of "top ten most popular". If Nintendo had limited supply of Metroid, they could deem its release asa "sell out" which would increase hype. We saw a similar theory from the Gamestop CEO a few weeks ago for Wii, didn't we? Only of course I think that is somewhat ridiculous...
Oh, and it's good to see you back to posting at the EoNU mos333. :)
If this is true, and hinders me IN ANY WAY of getting my hands on a copy, I'M GONNA BE PISSED!!!! :evil:ihateelvis
Yea, when we were talking ... Sounded like you really want this game. Good Luck .
But you don't even have a Wii yet, why would you do that?[QUOTE="lebanese_boy"]WTF !?! Wow if this ever happens to be true then I might consider buying this around the launch date :?.murlow12
Anyway, I won't buy it until next year. I still haven't even played MP2.
In case it's real, I don't want to have all the trouble of trying to find a copy when I eventually get a Wii.

You said you were waiting for another color though, right? I'm pretty sure that by that time the supply issues will be dealt with.[QUOTE="lebanese_boy"][QUOTE="murlow12"]But you don't even have a Wii yet, why would you do that?[QUOTE="lebanese_boy"]WTF !?! Heh, you didn't think I left, did you ;3?I'm not surprised, and I can think of a reason.

Either way, It doesn't matter to me what happens to MP3 because I don't own a Wii, and don't plan on buying one anytime soon =/..
It'll be handheld for me for a year or two..
either way, i have mine pre-ordered. :)BassBoy45
Just got my pre-order in today too (as well as one for SSBB ;)). :D
See, I wish pre-ordering games in England meant something, the game will be popular over here (infact, all Wii games tend to sell out on thier first day of release in the stores I go to). You just have to get there early to beat out other potential buyers, pre-ordering games just gets you 'double points' at our biggest game retail shop (Game). But I have till October 26th to prepare for that.Goku-streamThat's kind of dumb. I'm definitely more grateful to Gamestop/EBgames now, since we're actually guaranteed copies of a game with a pre-order.

Yes, Gamestop/ EB games are very good about having a copy for you when to pick it up. I don't think that there will be a limited supply though. That isn't really Nintendo's thing. However, when I preordered Brawl, the sales clerk asked me if I wanted to preorder MP3? I don't think that means there is a short supply that they know of, but more a chance to make a sales to the customer...... business stuff I mean.
