This may be old, but there is part of the story i think people missed. If there were to not be WiiConnect24 at launch, which according to third parties is likely, there would still be an online service. Nintendo hasnt sent out the tools necessary for 3rd parties to include online play, but that surely doesnt mean Nintendo cant take advantage of the service. Nintendo is only excluding this from third parties as of right now, therefore meaning that the Virtual Console and maybe even a first party game or two would still be available onlien from day 1. Reactions?
meh, not many of the release games seem like online would be to good for them especially since Metroid Prime 3 was delayed (I know that this should be old news for alot of you)
The article said that independent sources confirmed that there is no WiFi for 3rd parties!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!Has GameSpot done a report on this? I won't 100% believe the story until I see GameStop's take on it. Independent Sources means that Nintendo themsleves has not confirmed this. I'm slanting on bogus for this one for now.
I don't know the link for the Metroid thing because I had found it on a forum a few weeks ago. But like arfy said it had never been confirmed and the article said that the reason it would have been delayed until christmas was so they could work WiFi into it which could make since with what YOU said at the top of the page.
MP3 - i haven't seen a firm delay yet, although i'm kinda taking it as truth...just wouldn't be suprised to hear it was true.
I think Wii launching with a limited online plan is ok...i mean we get VC and maybe a couple titles at the launch window for it?? may be a way to test out the system and work out bugs. as long as i have VC at launch day - i'm cool.
