They are well known for giving bad reviews and scores to games that don't deserve them or deserve better and your link only furthers my point of how badly they wrongfully score games. I mean come on THPS3 is a perfect 10? You have got to be kidding me. 2. Im sure if you were to compare other games that got 10's, there average would be even lower than OoT's.....still making it the best game ever. I think its the best game ever because....
A. For its time (i dont know when you first played it), there was NOTHING out there even remotely like it. It had gameplay that was simple, unique, addictive, and still challenging..... and it still has one of the best stories ive ever read. I find all of the connections in Zelda games to be very immersive, especially considering they all link back to OoT.
B. It of course is my favorite game, and I have a lot of memories from playing it when i was younger
